Hi
I've been to the dessert party twice and really liked it both times. It's great to watch the fireworks from the reserved seating while eating delicious desserts. I think it's worth it to try it at least once.
We did it and will likely do it again. The only disappointment was that the weather was AWFUL, and Tink didn't fly overhead as she usually does. For that reason (and that reason alone), we'll probably do it again just to see that!
Right now it seems like online it is only available through March 31st. We want to reserve it for April 15 or 19 and after much playing that was the last date that shows any availability. I am hoping they just havent opened the next month up yet.
April Dates have not yet been loaded into the system.

SOOO glad to see this thread. I'm trying to book April 15 for our anniversary trip and when told nothing was available I had not even thought about it not being available yet. Maybe some Disney magic will
Send a little pixie dust our way and we can get a spot.
Actually there is no set time frame for the dates to book the Dessert Party to be released. If you look at the first page of the following thread you can see the dates at which the Party has been loaded into the system is very very inconsistent.
It's one of those things that we enjoyed but only felt the need to do it once.
Unfortunately we went the 2nd night it was every offered and they still had a few kinks to work out.
One problem we had (but I'm hoping they've corrected) was that the tables were these little round tables and they packed them in. which maybe ok if you've got 2 people and small children but it was uncomfortable with 4 adults. Our table and the tables around us were most adults and we spent the night trying to squeeze between the chairs and other guest.
My 2nd con was that you couldn't see spectromagic. we like that parade. not sure if they still have it so that may not be an issue.
Desserts were tasty.
We're glad we tried it and had fun but for the cost (~85 bucks) we probably won't do it again. Much rather get a dessert at the Main street bakery and enjoy the atmosphere.
1- That's correct. You can't really see the MK evening parade from the Tomorrowland Terrace.
2- They are running "Main Street Electrical Parade" instead of "SpectroMagic" at this time.
Both parades are "lighted, musical productions," and are very popular.
Spectro will likely be returning sometime within the next year.
Regardless, if you want to see the MK evening parade,
it would best be enjoyed at a performance other than the one
at which you are at the Dessert Party.
