We have a Wishes cruise scheduled on the boat that holds 12 for the Sat. after Thanksgiving. Can anyone tell me what to expect. I know we won't be able to see the castle from the water but how did you like it? Would you do it again? Any recommendations or suggestions?

Are you sure it holds 12? I have the Premium Pontoon booked for November 22 and I was told only 10. Sure do wish it was 12 because 2 in our group are being left out.

You will see the castle from the boat.

We took the Wishes cruise in August, family of four, in one of the pontoon boats that had the music piped in. It was amazing, incredible...there are not enough adjectives.

You will see the fireworks exactly as they were meant to be seen...from a distance, perfectly framing the castle, with no obstructions.

In short...you will love it!

you are right, it is 10 ... sometimes my fingers and brain aren't connected.

Thanks. For some reason I didn't think we would get to see much of the castle. We are suppose to have the music piped in, also. They said we were going to have snacks and drinks. Do you remember what they were?

From what I have read, I think the drinks are coke products and maybe bottled water. The snacks are bagged chips and maybe pretzels.

We were able to do the cruise without snacks and drinks...they were optional at an additional charge...and the cruise only was $150. Our captain (Jeff, from the Contemporary Marina) told us that the price was going up to over $200 and the snacks and drinks would be mandatory.

I've heard from others, though, that its just individual bagged chips/pretzels and cans of soda. We didn't bother ordering the snacks since we were having dinner at WCC right before the cruise; knew we wouldn't want them.

Yup .... price went up and they just come with the cruise. When we did illuminations the snacks were optional and we didn't do them, either. But, this cruise it wasn't a choice. I'm excited, though, as we haven't done this before so it should be lots of fun.
