Wishes celebration cruise as a surprise?

Has anyone done the wishes celebration cruise? If so, what did you think and is it worth the money? I would like to surprise my dh for his birthday.

I may be behind the times... What is a "celebration" cruise? We've done an Illuminations cruise with a birthday cake and all. Same thing?

Hi! We just got back from a great trip and surprised our DD on her 17th Birthday with a cruise. I think it is a great idea! They decorate the boat for you and have snacks and drinks onboard, though you can also order a birthday cake as well. Seeing the fireworks from Seven Seas Lagoon was very special and private. It is like having a front row seat for Wishes, but you don't have to deal with the crowds! You can request leaving from the Poly, Grand Floridian or the Contemporary Resort. They take off about 45 minutes before Wishes, and give a tour around Bay Lake and the Lagoon, then end up right in front of the castle. It really was fun, any other questions...please ask!
