I looked up the timing of Wishes for after our wedding and wdwinfo.com has it listed as 7pm on May 6th. That seems really early for me. Has anyone seen Wishes at that time? We would like to watch the fireworks from Poly's beach and want to make sure before announcing it to all the guests.

Thanks!

i'm thinking thats a typo. a) it isnt dark at all at 7pm in may and b) the row below lists the time at 9?

I hope so. The only thing is that Disney has MK closing listed at 7pm as well for that night. I believe it's due to Grad Night.

Hopefully someone here is having their dessert party that night and can help clarify.

I just looked at the crowd calendar on touringplans.com- which is well worth the subscription I might add- and May 6 is a grad night, which is why MK closes so early. According to TPs, Wishes will not be shown that night, which coincides with PP's said. I know you said you we're planning on watching it from the Poly beach, but if you do go to a park that day, I highly recommend visiting a different one. I've been there on grad night days in the past, and evening approaches, the place tends to be overrun with AP-carrying teens waiting for grad night to start. HTH's! :goodvibes

Thanks for the heads-up on the crowds. I'll be sure to tell my guests to avoid MK on the grad nights. Just sad that there's no Wishes on the night of our wedding. Would explain why all the sites at Epcot are taken for dessert parties.

I'm sorry Wishes isn't on for your wedding night.

I'm sure you can come up with something though - what about an illuminations cruise instead of a dessert party?
