Do I understand correctly that on MVMCP nights Wishes will be shown before the park closes for MVMCP and then Holiday Wishes will be shown during MVMCP?WOW!Has this ever been done before?

No, there is not a regular Wishes on MVMCP nights.
The park closes for those not attending the party before it's dark enough for fireworks.
If you're not going you can watch from a "Wishes Cruise", TTC, Contemporary or the Poly...

From what parts of the Contemporary or Poly can you watch the fireworks from, do they pipe the music in, and can you do it, even if your not staying at those resorts?

It's actually plenty dark enough at 6pm here in FL for fireworks in December. They did have them on the schedule to have both but that may have changed.

We are going the week of Dec. 16-22 and I was told by a Cast Member that Wishes will be at 6pm the night of the 18th and 21st and then the MVMCP will start at 7pm on both of these nights. wdwinfo website lists all of the times at each park under Events and Parades.

We are there the 1st-10th. From what I have been told, there are 2 sets of fireworks going on during party nights. There are 2 sets of firework cruises going out as well.

Well, this is obviously news to me!!

When we were there last year (first week of Dec, we did the party twice) it was pretty light when we arrived at 6:00 and we didn't see any fireworks until Holiday Wishes... guess it's either new or my head is a bit up in the clouds (which would be nothing new )

It definitely new. They never had Wishes on the same night as a party, before the party.

I still cannot believe they're actually going to do it. Its going to be crazy, IMHO.

Yeah, I read about this a little while ago...Hard to imagine how this works but I LOOOOOOVE the idea of two sets of fireworks!!!

We have a friend that does the fireworks. There is no way they could set up Wishes and then Holiday Wishens.

That's what I've read in the past and that's why I'm so doubtful that they could do two sets of fireworks in one night, 3 1/2 hours apart.

I do think that the fireworks are all set up during the night hours, when the park is closed. I can't imagine two fireworks performances the same night in one park. Neat though if they do.

It will be interesting to see what happens...but they must anticipate doing two sets...like I said, they are booking 2 sets of wishes cruises on those nights!

The last time I checked the disney website, it listed a showing at 6pm for regular park guests and then a 2nd showing for mvmcp guests. I'm assuming they will both be holiday wishes since it will be difficult to do regular wishes and then holiday wishes.
