We have dinner reservations at Ohana at 8:50PM. Wishes will be starting at 9:00PM. I was told by my travel agent to try checking in at 8:30PM and ask for a window seat. For those of you who have watched Wishes from Ohana when were you seated and how long in advance did you check in?

1) You need to get there about 1-hr ahead of time.
2) There are limited Wishes seats available.
3) And they go fast.

When I made Ohana reservations (trying to go for a Wishes time slot), the CM couldn't understand it. He said that he's been getting an increasing number of requests to see Wishes from Ohana, but that, in his opinion, the view is not that great. His recommendation was to go for an earlier time slot and just watch Wishes from anywhere around the lagoon if we were looking for an-outside-of-MK-option. We'll probably find a spot on the beach and go that route. That way, we'll at least be guaranteed to see it, rather than hope to wiggle our way into a lagoon window table.

I agree on the beach, don't have to stress about ADRs/seating, better views, better setting - unless of course its bad weather in which case you're probably not going to have a great view from Ohanas anyway. They pipe the music into Ohanas I guess?

Yes, they pipe the music in.

There are not many tables with decent views. We lucked into getting one last time. Our ADR was for around 8:15 and Wishes was at 10 I think.

Yes, from the beach you will have a better view than from Ohana.

And you could not have a window table....
