Wishes and Dinner at Ohana

We have priority seating at Ohana for 7:00pm, will we be able to watch the wishes fireworks from the Poly at this time or should I try to change the time?

Check the November calender on the official WDW site to see what time Wishes will be on the night that you're planning to be at Ohana. If it's at 7pm then you'll probably still be in the lobby waiting, if it's at 8pm then you should be in luck. If it's at 9pm, that's iffy unless you have a large, slow eating group. Even if you're in the main dining room, there's a chance that you might not have an unobstructed view, so be sure to put in a request to be near the window facing MK and remind them when you check in at the podium. Great tips! I am going to reschedule my time as the fireworks aren't until 9:00pm. I will also request to be near the window facing MK! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited! Thanks.

You'll want a time as close to 8pm as possible. However, remember that everyone else w/ that time slot is most likely requesting those same tables. If nothing else you can see the fireworks w/ a wonderful view from the Ohana lobby. So if you eat first you can always watch right after. Personally I found the view to be better than any table we've gotten. But no matter how hard I try and schedule the good view one's are always gone.

We were there for dinner in sep and were not able to get a window seat, we ended up in the back. However when wishes did start DD and DS went with all the other kids and sat on ledge of window watching. I was able to kneel beside DD and noone seemed to mind.

We did this in September! We made our dinner ressie for 1 hour before Wishes started. We arrived about 20-15 minutes early and I requested a window table. We waited about 10-15 minutes and got a great table by the window facing MK. We had a great view of the castle and Wishes! I would recommend getting there a little earlier than your reservation. Make sure to remind them about a window table! By the way, Ohana's dinner is fabulous!! We had such a wonderful time. Afterwards, we took a stroll around the Polynesian and walked over the TTC to catch a bus back to WL (where we were staying). Have fun!
