This is our first trip to WDW (w/ 5yr old boys) and the only character meal that we could make ADR's for (that had characters they wanted to see) is CP. Unfortunately it was for 9:15pm on 3/29 - our first day there. . I've been calling for a couple of weeks and can only get LATER times.

This is our only evening in MK we have planned. Our flight arrives at 2:30 so I'm guessing it will be at least 5 or 6 pm before we get checked in at WL and get to MK. I'm taking some lunches on the plane and figure we will get a CS meal or snacks at MK to tide the boys over until a late dinner.

How is the view of Wishes from CP or just outside? I'm guessing from the aerial photos that there is no view of Tinkerbell flying if you are standing near CP - is this right?

Should we take a later ADR? How long would it take if we were to be in the Castle area to see Tinkerbell and then tried to go to CP?

Welcome to the dis!:flower3: Well if you try to make it to CP after the show it might be a little hard. Main street is very packed after wishes. You can see the show from CP but maybe not Tink not sure we have always stood in front of the castle. You could try for a later time, but your child will be too tired to eat. From experience our five year old at the time always zonked out if we had a later dinner ressi. Good luck. I hope it works out for u!

We have watched Wishes from CP just after our dinner and I loved this spot. The view of the castle was perfect and we did see Tink flying. I don't know what time Wishes is scheduled when you are there, but if you are around there, I would definitely plan on watching it from in front of CP.

Thanks! The boys saw a video clip of Tink flying and wanted to see that, but they also wanted to do Crystal Palace and I wasn't sure we had any possibility of doing both.

Hopefully they will not be too worn out by then. I'm hoping I can get them to nap early on the plane. Because it is EH at MK that night, I'm going to drag the humongo double jogging stroller with us, so they can nap as needed. We are only staying for 3 nights, so we don't have a lot of flexibility in our plans.
