Hello! I'm trying to decide whether to switch out my SDMT fp for Wishes fp. DH doesn't ride the coasters (I actually have 1 fp for me for SDMT and 1 for DH-SM that I would use). I rode them in November. This is our 2nd trip in a year (going in April), so I'm okay skipping these rides, especially since he won't ride with me. I need to decide if I want to get a Wishes fp and try the new area, or watch from the area behind Fantasyland for the first time after reading about good experiences back there viewing Wishes. I don't like being packed in like sardines, so if the fp area is pretty crowded with pushing/etc, then I'd rather try the back of the back of the castle for something different. Thoughts??

The back of the castle is definitely way less crowded. But this is because the view overall isn't as good. If you're viewing the fireworks from behind the castle, you'll have fireworks shooting off from in front (castle) and behind you (behind MK). So a lot of head turning if you want to try to catch it all. Most of the smaller fireworks are shot off within the park, while the big mortars are from behind the park. Being behind the castle just know you won't see the projection show on the castle.

If you're fine with skipping the ride and want the best view for wishes, then I'd go with the wishes fp. If you guys are fine watching wishes from behind the castle and he doesn't mind waiting while you and ride, then keep the seven dwarfs passes.

I have yet to do the wishes fp (will be Easter weekend)..but I've heard that it's not crowded at all and you can sit
