We're going to be at WL in late Jan. - early Feb. and, after 2 trips to WDW, have yet to see a MK fireworks show since it's always on a super-crowded MK day (Sat.). This time, I saw WISHES will be on a Friday night. The plan is to have the character dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern (DH, 7 y.ol. DS and myself) at 5:15, then get in place for WISHES. IS there a good viewing area in the LTT area? Also, would you take the boat back to WL after the fireworks or is it just too crazy/crowded?
Thanks!

We just saw Wishes last week on a very crowded night. We highly recommend you seeing this fireworks show, whatever it takes. The best viewing location is somewhere on Main Street, preferably with a good view of the Castle. The Castle is lit up and plays an integral part in the show. We liked standing on the side of Main Street around the end of the row of buildings.
As far as getting back to the WL by boat, I wouldn't recommend it. It could be a long, and cold wait for a boat. I'd recommend taking the monorail (either one) to the T&TC, walking around the building to the left, and taking the Boone? bus directly to the WL.
Whatever you decide, have a great time!
