Wish Trippers...Unite!! Volume One

Oh, I'm so sorry your guys have been sick! Our boys took turns getting through a stomach bug on our first WDW trip in 2006. Not much fun hanging around a hotel room with a vomiting child - or for the child either! We took it easy for a day or two, then got back to the magic. It actually made us slow down and just enjoy whatever we managed to do.

I hope this won't take away too much from your magical vacation!

A quick update on Nick's wish trip.. I swear we are never going to get his offical dates! Does it take this long for everyone else to actually hear? We were told it would take three weeks.. ohhhh way back in Aug. lol... oh well, I don't want to complain too much. We do have a meeting scheduled for this Sunday so maybe we will find out something then.

Hi everyone we are new to the discussion board..... well to any discussion board. I would like to post a pre-trip report so I can properly intoduce myself. After navigating the site for what seems like days, I have yet to determine how to do this. Could someone please help me out, lol. I am super thrilled to have found the site and am looking forward to getting to know you and your families. I am the mommy of a 3 1/2 yr old little girl (though her attitude would suggest otherwise). Aww, that doesn't sound like fun! Are they better now? My kids were very sick a few weeks ago too. Lydia did her whole breathing issues thing and I think we went to the doctors 4 times in 2 weeks. Don't you just hate hospitals sometimes? Is Savannah okay? And what about you? Hopefully you won't catch whatever they have...

Brian and I took all three kids to see our pediatrician this afternoon. I'm glad that Brian's training got done early today and he was able to come over and help me. It was craziness and I don't think I could have done it myself!

Siennah who was running a high fever last week now as a sinus infection. She has been put on Amoxicillin.

I had brought Sebastian in again last Friday to have a follow-up from his ER visit with another pediatrician. His ear infection was not clearing up so she prescribed an extra three days of Zithromax. Today Dr. Queen told us his ear was still not getting better and had some blood pooled inside. So she switched him to Augmentin. The same antibiotic he was on last month for his cough.

Savannah has an awful sounding cough and has been snotting green. This morning she vomited mucus. Her barely audible cry sounds hoarse like she has been up all night crying and hast lost her voice. At nine weeks old the poor dear has Croup, Laryngitis AND an ear infection! She is also going on Amoxicillin.

Good thing is that Dr. says they are not contagious. At this point they have developed infections due to their immune systems being depressed from fighting viruses. I just want us all healthy for Disney

Jeanne let me know that we are officially banned from the Disboutique thanks to our Big Give I've never been so happy to be banned from something in my life! Can't wait to see what comes in the mail!

Also, my kids are on the mend. Sebastian and Siennah are back at preschool today and we are going to see Disney on Ice tonight!

We don't have dates either though we put off planning until after Emy had this last surgery. I asked our wish granters and got an email saying they're working on it and as soon as they firm up dates they'll let us know.

Yay! I can't wait to see what they create for your kiddos! They are so talented and kindhearted! I am glad your kids are on the mend. I think I jinxed myself when I "stupidly" at work commented how well Nick was doing on Friday.. then bam he has been sick since then. Hopefully he will be back at school tomorrow.

I just got the email from our wish granters that Emily's wish is OFFICALLY approved and they're staring to plan her cruise!!!! Now they need our passports Anyone know why they need them to plan the cruise? We have them and it's not a problem but kind of curious from a planning stage why they need them (they have our DL & the kids BC!)

Anywho.. Just thought i'd post some happy stuff!!! Can't wait until they give us DATES and we can start COUNTING down!!!!

Amber!!! I can't agree with you more! When we were asked about the BIG GIVE I thought that I would faint!!1 I was soooo excited! I filled out the form super quick and made a bunch of errors. I couldn't see thru my tears. My dh says that I am a Lifetime movie waiting to happen!!
