wish trip planning

So excited to be planning our son's wish trip!!!! We are going through Make a wish and they have been just wonderful so far. So have all the people who are helping with other parts of his wish. He wanted to be a fireman for a day, and with getting the Disney trip I never thought anything else would happen but the local volunteer fire department is making him an honorary member and taking him out on a mock fire and all sorts of wonderful things.
Ryan is undiagnosed which makes things very interesting, and so now because his needs have changed we may be travelling with medical equipment that we didn't expect. A feeding tube and more meds than ever.
We leave April 30th and are there through May 6th.

op: are you staying at Give Kids The World? if so make sure you allow time to do some of the activities. my grandsons, been on 2 MAW trips, loved having Mayor Clayton and Miss Merry come and tuck them in one night. great pics and a fun night. horseback riding and the parties. be ready to be spoiled and waited on hand and foot. many characters come to the village and there is always someone to use your camera for you so all of you are in the pics. remember to have some ice cream for breakfast at least once. have a great trip and bring an extra suitcase to bring everything home. trust me on that one, you will need it. that does not count anything you buy, just the gifts you will get. there will be gifts for the nonwish kids, not just the wish child. not always the same but nonwish kids are not forgotten
