Alright, I know no one has been on the Wish yet, but let’s be honest, it sounds super neat. I’m taking my daughter on the Wish at the end of October 22. I’m looking at summer cruises for 2023 and I really want to do a double dip castaway cay itinerary but the non-crazy price one of that is on the Disney Magic. Am I going to be disappointed or bored going from the Disney Wish to he Magic? My daughter will be 3 on the Wish and 4 on the Magic (if we go). I’m worried that we won’t have enough to do cause it’s one of the older ships

You are overthinking things, especially with a child that age. She'll have fun on any ship. The fancy bells and whistles will be lost on her. The characters, Club/Lab, pools and splash areas, theaters, dining rooms -- they are available on any ship. Different experiences, but that's like trying to say after going to Magic Kingdom could someone really enjoy Hollywood Studios -- different but both are fun in their own way.

A double dip is a special treat in itself. Plus, there will be different restaurants and different shows on the Magic than the Wish.

We loved our first cruise, a double dip on the Magic, so much I'm hoping for VGT rates on this fall's double dips on the Dream. New shows + new restaurants + 2 Castaway Cay days = a win for us.

An interesting think we were considering was doing Disney Magic out of Miami June 15th-19th then the Wish out of Port Canaveral June 19th-23rd. that Would of been an 8 night with 2 stops at castaway. ended up being too long To do both.

I haven't been on the Wish yet (obviously!), but I've been on the Dream, Fantasy and Magic and Magic is actually my favorite. I like that it is smaller and it still has a ton of activities. I think your daughter would enjoy both ships.

Thanks everyone. You have all convinced me (not that I needed a lot of convincing) to try to book the double dip on the Magic when the booking window opens for me in a couple days. I’m just impatiently waiting for dreams unlimited to load it in their system so I can make the request! And even better perk is after that cruise we will move up to gold (cause it’s after 5 cruises, right?). The first three cruises I was a teenager so these are the first ones for me as a mom!
