Getting Back in Shape!
Hi everyone,
I am hoping to embark on the journey of health and fitness, with the all time goal of mostly running the 1/2 marathon in January at Disney World.
My husband I completed the 1/2 in 2008 but I was not as prepared or as strong as I could have been. I have had a tough couple of years since the race and unfortunately have gained atleast 20 pounds.
I am getting into the right frame of mind and would like to join a team if possible, I realize how important support is and I know that whenever I have joined any Dis groups I have met the most amazing people in the world...
My goal is to lose 40- 45 pounds, and to be able to run more than walk.
My name is Kristin and I am 36 years old, I have just gone back to school after many years and I have come to realize that if I can do that I can do anything!!!!! So if I may join a team that would be great!
