Wish - rotten seafood sewage smell Concierge deck 12

The title says it all. We have been on the Wish 3 times now in Concierge and each time there is a foul rotten seafood smell in the hallways deck 12 and this last trip on day 2-3 it was suddenly very noticeable even inside our 1 bedroom suite. Anyone else notice this yet and ideas what the problem is? It is not food that we are bringing into our cabin. Love the Wish but this is not a good smell.

My guess, the trap in the bathroom has dried out, allowing sewer smells to drift back into the room.

Yes! we were on the Wish Sept 19th 4 night cruise, starboard side, small concierge cabin, I did notice the smell, mentioned it to our cabin attendant. Hallway never did have that fresh cruise smell.

So it wasn't just us, LOL! Both decks 12 & 13 smelled fishy to us (though not rotten). We thought maybe it had to do with the kitchen in the concierge lounge since they were serving sushi...

Thankfully, we did not smell it from inside our room!

Saddened to read about the smelly situation for you and others but r.e. the bold -- the old saying that comes to mind is --- Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me

Our second DCL Dream Concierge cruise was enough for us to abandon ships and find a superior cruise experience for thousand$ le$$. Even the improved WISH Concierge offerings pale in comparison.

Hope you have better luck with your future cruises especially as a Platinum

On our 9/5 wish sailing we were on deck 12 port side and there was no smell but every time we walked on the starboard side I commented how it smelled like sewage.

Our second DCL Dream Concierge cruise was enough for us to abandon ships and find a superior cruise experience for thousand$ le$$. Even the improved WISH Concierge offerings pale in comparison.

OP, WHY would you go back not once but TWO MORE times and deal with this on a vacation? It sounds absolutely disgusting.

Ok, need to change thread title to include deck 13. We are on the Wish now in Concierge 4th time since Maiden in July 2022 this year. The sewage foul smell is so pungent and bad and completely in our room. We are near end of hallway close to splash pad. Just awful. DCL has to know about this. Is it bad plumbing that has sewage in walls or sewage gas airing out from ship sewage collection back up through plumbing? What is it!!? OMG such a nice ship but they need to fix this it is not a small barely noticeable thing it is very strong overwhelming encompassing foul smell and taste of all the air we have to breathe in here

May be the other trips were booked already and concierge desposit is not refundable
