Hi all,
Haven't seen the checkin thread for November 5th. Did I miss it?
Are all you spring onederland wishers out there?
 
Hi! I was in DisneyWorld until yesterday, so I have to check in today.

I tried to stay low-carb, cheated slightly, but stayed on plan and drank all my water.

That, combined with pushing a stroller all over the place, resulted in a 5 lb. loss this week! Wee ha!

I did well this week too. I did purchase a new digital scale which is weighing about 3 - 4 pounds heavier than the old one. So, I lost 2 pounds, but my start weight has to go up to 232 and my current weight is 226.5. (on the old scale that would be 222.5... almost ready for a new clippie!)
 
I'm here, but not having much luck. It has been one thing after another. DH is gone for the rest of the week for a family emergency. Friday we leave for WDW. I'm trying to manage 2 little ones and packing at the same time. I miss DH - and I'm sad. My plan for WDW is to just make sure I really walk for at least 20 minutes a day and limit my treats. I'm going to hang in there but with every passing day it gets harder and harder to see that I can reach this goal. *pd* to all my friends out there!
 

Spring is a bit of a stretch for me, but I'd like to join you if there's any room! I really need the motivation of checking in someplace and being accountable. I'm new to this and have a few questions, though:

Is it anytime in Spring or is there a specific date?
Is there a weekly check-in?

Thanks for starting this group, I have about 35lbs. to go but I'd sure LOVE to be in Onederland before Summer!

Oops, I just saw on the clipart that there is indeed a specific date...
 
There is a WISH Onederland by Summer challenge going on... I don't know the dates for that one. Our Spring challenge is for March 20, 2004, if I am correct. You would be most welcome to join us! We are shooting for a weekly check-in of Wednesdays. I also check in on the WISH check in thread of the week on Sundays. This is just an extra challenge.

If you can get the search function to work, you could type in Onederland by Summer challenge, and see if it gives you a link to the Thread.

Either way, we are glad you are here!
 
Jeanne the best investment we made in our health was about four years ago and we purchase a set of those dr's scales you know the one's the bar moves across the top. It's pain to switch scales but look how close you are to onderland! I mean you could so do onderland by the early part of the year. I'm thinking VALENTINE's day!

Kasar you are doing so good and same goes for you. You all have set a very sensible goal and i know with a modify plan of attack you all can get it done. You guys are gonna be hotties' come summer time!

ahutton: you know i find i eat less with my dh away. It's a love thing i guess.LOL I usually grab a healthy choice dinner or pizza when i have the house just me and the kids which is about once a week and treat myself to a non cooking night for the most part.

Bailymouse-vacation = lost weight OMG you are MY hero girl! I can never seem to manage anything less than a 5lb gain. WTG
 
My diet tip of the week - go to Disney, stick to your low-carb plan if that's what you're on, and push a stroller!!!! We walked Epcot every day! We also walked to and from Epcot - I think we only took the boat twice during the entire trip and that's because my inlaws were exhausted. Obviously I'm a gastric bypass person but you still have to follow the diet to lose real weight, and the exercise from the stroller push really helped. I was hoping to be down 100 lbs. by my 6 month check up, but I don't think I'll make it. However, it should be pretty close.

I also don't know if I'll hit Onederland by Spring, but it's fun having a goal time. I have about 45 lbs. to go, so I'm going to try!

Best compliment of the week - my 18 yr old DS came to the elevator to help with the bags, and he said, "wow, you really lost weight this week!" If he noticed, it must have worked, lol!

I also maintained this week....so I still have 16 lbs til I get to Onderland!!

I am gonna go for the wish onederland by spring! 40 pounds to go!!! Now if I can just behave tomorrow night at the church dinner!!!

Missed one check in because I was at WDW! Where I gained 3 lbs. About 1/2 my meals were on plan and the other half had some kind of treat (bread on a sandwich, a dessert (my birthday afterall) or a Mocha Frapachino. This first week home (last week) I dropped all three pounds.
This week, I'm down a pound and a half, so I get my 20lb clippie.
WHOO HOOOOOO:Pinkbounc :bounce:
This puts me at 228.5....Onderland is in my reach!

I wish it could be more, but with 4 people and one computer it gets hard...

Im between loosing 15 and 20 pounds since I found you all that was the beginning of October
 
I know have 13 pounds til I get to Onderland! Woo hoo!
 
Sorry everyone....I havn't been around for a while. Life got extremely hectic and I didn't help things out any by not following my plan. But I'm back on now.

I'm SO PROUD of all of you!! You all are doing great. :Pinkbounc :wave: Congrats to all of you losers!!:D
