Is the wish coming home early? They have sort of a weird path showing on vessel finder tonight. Maybe it takes longer then I think to go that far.

Maybe weather related ?
It arrived safely Monday in Port Canaveral .
It is hurrican season from July to November.
I-have never heard of vessel finder .

I just googled this Cruise Mapper site.
You are right Definitely would make me seasick !

Shoot, I didn’t even see all that! I just looked at a weird path north of West Palm Beach. Dang, the little L-R-L maneuver I noticed looked like they were trying to get out of another’s path.

day at sea

killing time

Mrs just home from the cruise, was on deck at 0015 and they were still off shore .....

about 4:30 PM yesterday they were east of West Palm beach ... or about 110 miles from Port Canaveral. <I used MarineTraffic.com> Port schedule expected them at 4 AM so they had :: lets round down and say 11 hours. That's 10 knots ...... easy peasy cruise AND heading north they'd be getting a kick from the Gulf Stream ... IME 3 knots or so if they ride the axis .....

All adds up - they had time to kill ....

they did a few donuts to eat time ... on a sea day they'll typically steam a slow circle.

Usually it is better to keep moving slowly rather than 'sit' ..... helps the ride.

FWIW, while on the MV we hardly felt any movement at all. Not even a gentle sway as is typical of cruise ships. Even crossing the gulf stream on the first night and the last night when we've encountered more movement on other cruises we didn't feel anything.

I missed it a little, especially when sleeping. I love the rocking.
