I am leaving tomorrow morning to finally move back down to my house in Kissimmee! I have an interview at casting on Monday! I'm hoping to get a job in merchandise, more specifically The Emporium at Magic Kingdom! So you guys coming in late May might see me? I'll post later when and if I get a job cause I'd love to see you DISers! :rotfl: :Pinkbounc :wizard:

I also have to fix my hard drive down there so I won't be on for I'm hoping only a week tops so. :guilty:

Good luck!

You know, I worked in the Emporium for a short time back in 1993. But I wasn't hired into that position. They hired me on a temporary basis to sell "glow" at the Magic Kingdom but would "float" me over the Emporium on rainy nights and fall nights when there were no Spectro performances. Even after I transferred to a full-time position in Resorts merchandise, I was still able to pick up some overtime shifts at the Emporium. So just in case you don't get placed there, keep in mind that you may be able to work a couple of shifts there every now and then.

I totally don't blame you for wanting to work there. It can get crazy busy, but it is so much fun and just SO "Disney." Sending pixie dust your way... :wizard:

I know that's the reason I want to work there. I'd get some of the most guest interaction, even the cranky ones (even though I wouldn't want those). So my days will pass quickly and I'll have stories to swap with my bro about evil guests! :rotfl:
