Well, at 1:00 today I take the Assessment of Teaching Assistant Skills (ATAS.) While I'm not a teacher, I did start my Master's in Education and teach HS Drama for one WHOLE semester while living in VA. : Here in NY I'm not qualified for a teaching certificate, but I thought I'd try my hand at a teaching assistant position should one become available. I haven't taken a test in 13 years! That's where you come in... please send your positive thoughts my way. The sample questions were not at all difficult, but I'm afraid I may "over think" it. Oh well...here I go!

I don't know what I was worried about! Helping my fourth grader with her homework was enough prep for the test. It was very basic stuff. Now I just have to wait until Dec. for the results. Thanks guys!
