I'm cracking up here! I took Fri off work to go to the interview (just a normal vacation day, nobody knows why). So last night I was checking my work email to weed out some of the junk and I got an email from my boss that I was promoted. Mind you, I was just promoted with a 10% salary increase in June (in addition to our annual 3% raise in Feb), now I'm getting another promotion with a yet-to-be-disclosed increase. (I'll find out today)

I'd still prefer Florida over this, but my thinking is that it will give me some leverage in negotiating Boy, when it rains, it pours!

After some negotiating, I have an offer letter which I'll be signing and faxing back today

My tentative start date is 2/15/06, so lots to do between now and then starting with finding a place to live!
