For those who keep a journal on the WISH journal board, do you find that it has helped you stay more focused or on track? A little more apt not to cheat on your program? I'm a little hesitant to post what I've eaten but it might actually be good for me in the long run.

While I do not post a journal on WISH, I have made use of the FitDay.com site. There is an ability to do many things I have found quite useful at this site. Food consumption is given a nutritional breakdown. You may log any exercise you do, write entries in your journal, and request analysis reports as well. You have the option of making this information available to others if you desire. There is some initial labor-intensive work involved more in the beginning as you set-up your foods eaten. Once you become familiar with the system, it goes more quickly. I recommend that if you do not use the Journal on WISH.
As I understand and agree, journaling makes one more accountable and sometimes can be helpful to analyze when you may feel the need. Somedays it is the best therapy!

I find it very useful as a place for my thoughts. I do not always use it everyday, but it provides me a place to keep track of successes and failures.
 
I just starting using the W.I.S.H. Journal this week - and yes - I do tend to stop and think before I eat because I have to record it.
 

I use the journal board everyday, to write what I eat and how much excercise I do. This past weekend I was really busy, and was unable to go to Fitday.com throughout the day like I normally do, but I always go to these boards. I especially found it helpful because yesterday I just opened up my journal posts and used that to fill in the missing days at Fitday.com! It may be redundant, but I like the support of this board while I like the reports you can get on Fitday (like how much weight have I lost, how much excercise I have done etc for the last one, two etc weeks)! hope this helps!
