Wish Incredibles Inflatable in Hero Zone gone?

We just got back from our Wish cruise last week and the kids were disappointed that the Incredibles inflatable obstacle course was not set up. We were excited since it was marketed heavily in Disney Wish promotions. Only the half court basketball was set up for the entire cruise and no staff member seemed to know anything about the inflatables. Was this anyone else's experience on the Wish?

I think it was supposed to happen on the Sept 18th cruise (was in the navigator, we had friends on the cruise) but it didn't happen because there was a gastro bug spreading among crew. So I don;t think it's gone but maybe they were still doing a deep clean? Not sure why crew wouldn't have known about it though.

Thanks for that! Perhaps we asked a crew member who was unaware of the situation. Kids had fun with the ping pong tables and air hockey nevertheless in Hero Zone. We kept checking the Navigator as well and didn't see the inflatables mentioned.

I can confirm we didn’t see it on our 4 night back in Aug.

We had it on our 4 night end of July, but it was only set up one day at specific hours. And that line was long….

Sorry I don’t mean didn’t know about the gastro bug. I assume they would know and just wouldn’t share the info (understandably). I am referring to the part in the op which said the crew member didn’t know about the hero zone at all. It was on the navigator for that sailing so it seems odd that a crew member wouldn’t know it existed.

We definitely saw the incredicourse on our 4-night mid September sailing, pretty sure it was on day 2 in the afternoon. I can't recall if it was set up again later or not. So sorry you guys didn't get to experience it!

We had it in on a 4-night in August and I know someone who had it on a 3-night in September, so it's definitely available ordinarily. I also know they only do it on Nassau day (likely to avoid injuries that might result if the ship were moving), so sometimes on a cruise that skips Nassau or has modified hours in Nassau (e.g., due to weather) it just won't happen.

It sounds like the crew member you asked was likely repurposed from another role on the ship due to the regular Hero Zone crew being sick. Most crew don't know about all the ship's activities unless it relates to their jobs.

The Incredible inflatable course was up this weekend on our Wish 3 night cruise on Nassau day, and it was only up during hours that most folks were in port. Was a short window but it was a very short cruise. My son spent hours there. My advice is to get there before the doors open to get in line.

If this November, it might be too late to join a FE group as most of them close a month or more out so that those participating can get their gifts in order. Some might have last minute groups.

If it wasn't there, don't be too bummed. You probably have better inflatables in the city where you live. It's just like any other blow up thing you can climb up and slide down except that you have to wait in a long line to do it and it takes about 30 seconds to run around the whole thing.

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer, I just want to set appropriate expectations for anyone super excited about it and also let you know, original poster, that you didn't really miss out on anything. I don't know what we were expecting, but it's just a basic inflatable. My daughter has been to a zillion birthday parties that those places around town and she has fun, but it's nothing really novel.
