not Disney related but figure i would let others know. Just read an article onthis....

the new crayola colored bubbles stained before I spent the money on them for my kids to put in their Easter Baskets.....Hope I can return them....:)

I just did those bubbles outside and was shocked at how bad it was...it stained the grass!!! A few popped on the side of our house and I quickly washed it...luckily it came off but not off my DD's shirt. I wish I had not bought them along with the gun...although I think I will empty out the color bubbles and put regular bubble fluid in the bottle and still use the gun....very sad as the concept was a cool one!

DD noticed today that during the commercial for them, it says at the bottom "may require two washings to come out".

I said, "Uh oh, that's not going to go over well with a lot of people". :headache:

Have you tried soaking the shirt in oxyclean?? We have had no problems getting the bubbles out of their clothes but it sometimes requires a little extra soaking.

I've heard a ton of bad things about these bubbles. I almost bought them for DD3's b-day party favors! Can you imagine how much the parents would hate me for that? We went with the Gazillion (I think they are called that) bubbles instead.

I have not heard of them but probably would not have bought them, I remember we tried the crayola sand and had a heck of a time getting the stains out of the clothing.

Has anyone ever tried the Gymboree Bubbles? You can get them usually at the store or at the Gymboree Play and Music centers...They are sugar based I think. They float forever and my kids love that they can catch them and they don't pop right away!

We love the Gymboree bubbles!!! They are the best bubbles.

just thought I'd mention that my son was using sidewalk chalk with the neighbors kids and it stained the knees of his baseball pants blue and green. I can get out the baseball clay stains but not the chalk. I tried everything and even got in touch with Crayola and they had no suggestions. They have been washed with every stain remover possible at least 20 times an they still have stains.

We found out about the Crayola bubbles the hard way...DH came in (luckily he used them outside) with dark blue hands. I thought they would be such a cute idea for the kids Easter baskets...guess not.

Glad I found this thread .... I just bought them yesterday for the Easter basket. They are definitely going back. Too bad - it was a cute idea.

I saw these and knew I wouldnt want them for dd3....just too messy. When I was at Walmart yesterday I was shocked at the price. $2.88 for a teeny bottle:confused3 I get a huge bottle at Walmart of regular bubbles for 25 cents:thumbsup2

I just heard about the staining recently too, and talked it over w/ my ds and decided we should take it off the Easter Bunny list and just say "bubbles" instead!!:thumbsup2
