Wish I could have the ship's horn for my cell phone ring.....

My v60 is a small flip phone that is silver. Don't know if that helps you any. There is an emblem below the Motorolla logo that looks like a fancy, artsy V.

You can go to the motorolla.com website to find your phone and/or user manual.

I would love to have this also. I have a Samsung R224 anyone know if you can down load this to it?

Goofy:

Try this for your phone. It may or may not work because its for the R220/R225 phones.

Locate your phones melody composer, then enter the following key press sequence into your phone (ignore the spaces).

588 5 4 3 1 ^ 2 6 0 788 7 6 5 4 ^ 5 18 0 28 18 7 6 5 4 3 2 6 0 788 0 5

To enter this code into your Samsung R220 / R225 phone press the 'Menu' button, then the '3' button, then the '2' button to access the Melody Composer.

Choose a position to store the new tone and press select, the phone will then display a musical score for you. Clear this using the 'c' key if it contains any notes.

Now you can enter the key sequence above to place the tone in your phone. Where you see ^ press the up key on your phone. When you have finished use the 'listen' menu button to play the tone, at the end of the play sequence the phone will ask you if you are satisfied, if you are then select 'yes' and give the tone a name.

Let me know!

That horn on the site sounded terrible-- anybody who wants a better sounding horn in wav file about 41 kb e mail me and I will send it to you. I recorded it myself on the ship. My digital camera does wav files also

This is so incredibly cool! I have looked at the Motorolla book on how to enter my own tones, but I have no knowledge of music (except that I love to listen and sing along!:o ), and it was way, way over my head! You are techno geek, in the sweetest way!

Today is my birthday, and this is absolute, the best present!

Thanks again! If you have any other great disney tunes, I would truly love them!

Thank you:Pinkbounc Thank you:bounce: Thank you:Pinkbounc :yo-yo: :Pinkbounc

Okay Lisa, can you help me? I have a Sanyo RL2500 and would love to have this on my phone.

Thanks,
LeiLani

I can't find a converter for any Sanyo's unfortunately and don't know that Sanyo uses iMelody for its ringtones. I know that Motorolla uses iMelody along with a few other manufacturers.

Here are the instructions for anyone's phone that has an iMelody function.

iMelody Ringtone Format.

iMelody has been developed by the irDA association as a standard for single channel ringtones.

It has been adopted by Ericsson, Alcatel, Motorola and Siemens, and the latest handsets from these manufacturers should be able to accept ringtones in this format. Please refer to your manual to see if your handset is supported, and for instructions on how to send an iMelody Ringtone to your phone.

The iMelody conversion for this tone is :

MELODY:*3g2*4g2*4f2*4e2*4#c2*4d2*4a2r2*3b2*4b2*4a2*4g2*4#f2*4g2*5c2r2*5d2*5c2*4b2*4a2*4g2*4f2*4e2*4d2*4a2r2*3b2r2*4g2

For a full iMelody file (including headers and tempo information), use the file option in the menu bar and choose 'Save current ringtone to file...'.

Happy Birthday Lisa!!!:Pinkbounc Happy Birthday Goofy Girl!:bounce:

Can't do the phone ring thing. Got an "old phone" (Motorola T2260/T2267)and still don't know how to use all the extras. I have to have my 13 y/o DD help me with some of the programing.
:p But loved the docking of Magic at Key West. Thanks!

Thank you Johnny. That one sounded much better!

Twinave:

I just looked through your phone manual online and I don't see anywhere that you can program a custom ringtone. :( I could be wrong though.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!
