I have a Siemens C56 phone that allows me to record .wav files. I didn't do the ship's horn (yet), but one of my rings is Cobra Bubbles saying, "Thus far you have been adrift in the sheltered harbor of my patience," and I also have a verse of the Canyonero song. You can use anything that you can record.

SprintPCS has some "official" Disney ringtones, but I don't think the horn is one of them. If your phone will take .wav files, however, here's a link to where you can download the horn sound:

I set my wife's computer to play the horn at Windows startup. I also gave her the desktop wallpaper of one of the ships at Castaway Cay, so now she has a full package.

I don't know about it on my cell phone....but I have it on my computer at work. Everytime I get an email...and in my job...I get a ton of them....the horn sounds!!!!!!!!!!!!! Makes people crazy and I, of course, LOVE IT......

This time next week..God willing...we will be on our way to ORL, visiting with Shirley and boarding THE MAGIC on Saturday...

Ok gang -- anyone with a Motorolla V60 phone, I have written and transposed the keypad sequence for you to record the tone in your My Tones in Setup. After it is recorded and saved, you can select it as your ringtone!!

Press the following keys in sequence:

00 3333 4 2222 4 2222 333 2222 33 2222 000 222 # 2222 3 2222 # 2 # 2222 7 2222 00 3333 22 # 2222 # 22 # 2222 # 2 # 2222 4 2222 000 333 2222 4 2222 00 5 222 # 2222 7 2222 00 5 3 2222 00 5 222 # 2222 # 22 # 2222 # 2 # 2222 4 2222 333 2222 33 2222 3 2222 # 2 # 2222 7 2222 00 3333 22 # 2222 4 2222 7 2222

This sequence will yield the following in the notes section:

It's official! I'm a moron. Should I have put the spaces in??? Don't laugh!!! I told you I was a moron!! Anyway after sitting here getting a blister on my thumb and being all proud of my stupid self for getting it all set up...it doesn't work.

Don't enter the spaces -- just press the buttons in that order. The spaces are there for it to be easier to read. Try entering about 30 keypresses, save it and see what it sounds like. If its working - go back and edit the MyTone picking up where you left off. Its easiest if someone is calling out the sequence to you.

Is your phone a Motorolla V60? That is the only one this sequence will work with.

Thanks Lisa....It doesn't say on my phone what model it is just that's it's a Motorola. I also can't find the book to see what model # it is. Knowing my luck I went through all that and I don't have the correct model. Gotta go find that book!
