WISH & Geocaching, Perfect Together!

Today I launched my first Geocache Travel Bug entitled DLF>DNF>>DNS.

For those who are thinking what the heck is he talking about! Here is the explanation as posted on Wikipedia.com.


Geocaching is an outdoor treasure-hunting game in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers (called "geocaches" or "caches") anywhere in the world. A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook and "treasure," usually toys or trinkets of little value.

A travel bug is a serialized tag that is attached to an item. The item usually has a specific goal. My travel bug is attached to a WISH bracelet and the goal is to be worn by as many people as possible in as many races as possible and to make its way to the 2009 Disney Marathon Weekend. I started by wearing it in the 2007 Chicago Distance Classic.
