WISH Exercise Challenge September 2004

I'd love to join also! I missed the august one & need this challenge before my vacation 10/1 so perfect timing. Thanks:wave:

I want to join, but I never have done the challenge before. What do I do? Do I keep track myself and then let someone know when I reach the half point and then my goal??

I'd like to sign up for 1500 minutes. I go to the gym 5 days a week for at least an hour (depending on my schedule). Do I just keep track??

Rae Ann Thanks so much for doing this again!

Please put me down for 1000 minutes.

Cheryl :bounce:

Ok Ok!!! I feel my arm being twisted by all you nice people. :p :p

Need something to keep me motivated. Just hope I can make this work........

Thanks for organizing it and supporting me:sunny: :sunny:

Count me in for 1000 minutes.

Have a Disney Day!!::MickeyMo

Like Kim, I'll be back at work, and will be busy, BUT I want to do this. Since I was able to make August 1000, I think that I will strive for 1200 in September. I'm thinking that the exercise that I do moving two kids out to College/University should count! ;)

ADisneyMom, be sure to check out the Marathon Training thread, too. We are all in this together....and I don't know about others, but I'm beginning to shudder at what I have gotten myself into, Ollie.

Tera, RaeAnn checks this thread regularly. Shes' awesome! :teeth: Some people check in daily-or exercise time. Some every couple of days. I prefer to keep track, and post once a week because it saves RaeAnn a bit of trouble AND it makes me focus and accountable for my own exercise time. Do what works best for you.

Good luck everyone. We are a wall of strength together!

Can I start too? I would love to exercise for 30 mins a day and maybe this will kick me in the behind!!!!!! LOL Sign me up for 1000 mins please

I would like to sign up for 1000 minutes. I've been doing pretty well with exercising, but I think this will help motivate me to do even more!

August was a bomb for me, but I always feel more motivated in the fall, a new start, ya know? So sign me up for 1000 minutes, Rae Ann, and thanks!

I was hoping someone would do this or I was going to do it on my own. Thanks so much for organizing this again! It seems like so much work; I'm really grateful for the time you put into it.

Please count me in for 1000 minutes.

Have a magical day!

Although I wasn't participating, I was following along with the 1000 minute challenge for August. I lost count of how many minutes I actually did, but I think I did ok, so I'm gonna join in officially this time. September is going to be a busy month so I could use the extra motivation.

Please put me down for 1000 minutes. Thanks very much for organizing this. :)

I'm jumping in with the basic 1000 minutes goal. I'll be away for the first few days in Sept, but I'm already keeping an exercise diary, so I'll add my minutes in and report on them when i get back.

I have a question though. Since i work for Target, they are varying my jobs lately, and occassionally i'll be required to walk all over the store depending on what I'm doing that day. Can I count the walking as exercise for my goal here? Or do i just count my FIRM workouts that i do and any exercise outside work?

TY

I fell a bit short of my August goal, so I'll sign up for 1000 minutes again. Hopefully I will exceed that. Thanks Rae Ann for taking the time for this. :)

Okay this is just what I need to get and keep my buns moving!

I am going to commit for 1200 minutes - I think I can, I think I can!

My treadmilling buddy TammyNC is going to do this venture too- she'll be here later to sign up ::yes::

I'm sorry I haven't really reread the thread (read it the other day) but was wondering any early morning tmilling folks besides me and Tammy?

MelanieC - glad to see you are here too - been missing ya :wave2:

Thanks for getting this thread going - sure appreciate your work !

 Sign me up to please Rae Ann for the 1000 minutes. I really need this.
I stopped trying to loose weight about four weeks ago for some reason, and we are just back from two weeks at WDW, and I have put lots of weight on there as well:( .
I really need this to get back on plan, thanks so much for organising this challenge.
Helen:wave2:

Count me in Rae Ann! I'm going for 2000 minutes again. I didn't make my August goal due to illness but I'm shooting for it again! :)

Did you find Eeyore during your Disney trip? He is my DD's favorite! He's so huggable!
