WISH Exercise Challenge October 2004

To summarize...

Week 1 = 350 minutes
Week 2 = 375 minutes
Week 3 = 360 minutes
Week 4 (so far) = 110 minutes



Week 4!

10/23 90 minutes
10/24 20 minutes
10/26 100 minutes

Total so far.....

1295/1500....it's going to be close!!
 
Hmmm. This past week was not a good one. I'm going to post just 'til the 21st today....and it REALLY isn't good. :eek:

Did two 60 minute walks and 1 45 minute Curves. Thankfully on Thursday, it was the school Walkathon, so added another 50 minutes there. That makes 215 minutes Added to my 540 I am now at 755. Well, at least I'm half way. :teeth: with just 595 to go.....

Let's see, that's about 60 minutes a day for the next ten days....sigh....
 
Ok, it is time to kick it into high gear--the bod will not get in shape with me just sitting here:rolleyes:

10/24--70 minute walk
10/24--45 minute walk (dh walked with me!!)
10/26--90 minute walk (gosh it is HOT here)
10/28--60 minutes exercise
10-30--60 minute walk
10-31--80 minute walk

That makes 1030/1100. Only 70 more minutes to go!

UGGH I don't think I am going to make it:mad:
 
Friday I did Firm BSS3 Hips, Thighs and Abs, Saturday I didn't do anything, this stupid cold got the best of me but this morning I battled back and did BSS1 ab sculpt so my total is now 621/1000.

Edited to add: I did Firm cadio sculpt blaster on Monday, 10/25/04 so that brings my total to 651/1000. I might do another work out this evening and I'll post the time if I do.

I'm sorry I haven't been able to post much or update this thread lately, I was having a bit of trouble with my computer and I've been dealing with "very needy" guests. :teeth:

But all is well and I hope you've been having a fabulous October. I can't believe it's almost November!!
 
I made goal and I haven't even logged in my last week!!

Damn, why can't I get my new clippie to work??? :(
 
I finished today. Not up to my usual stats, but at least I did finish today. This week was 250 points, so that brought my total to 1230 minutes:jumping1: :jumping1:
 
Sorry I took so long to post. It took over a week of Motrin and heating pad use for my midback strain to go away...I think some aspect of my weight lifting did it...which suprises me as I only do one set of each exercise. Another strong possibility was the crunches on the ball...I think I was leaning too far back and when I crunched up, I put too much strain on my upper back. So I layed off of the weights for week four of the challenge.

I did do 203 minutes during week three. Total 416 minutes.

It really aggravates me that every exercise I try is causing me various aches and pains that force me to stop, just when I'm getting back into a routine...without consistent exercise, my weight loss is at a standstill...grrrr...

Oops, apparently counted the 22nd on my last weeks numbers.

Oct 23rd 30 minutes
Oct 24th 0 :rolleyes:
Oct 25th 85 minutes
Oct 26th 120 minutes
Oct 27th 125 minutes
Oct 28th 70 minutes

I'll go ahead and post Oct 29th (87 minutes) since I know I won't get to the gym this weekend.

My total for this week is 517 for a total of 2219 and beat my goal!!!! Wish I could just get my clippie to post

WOW! Great job to all those who made goal already!!!

I last checked in with 205. I did 42 on Tues, 30 on Wed., and 43 on Thurs., bringing me to 320!! :p I made the 25% mark at least. ;)

Whew!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thx, thx, thx so much for this thread. Today, I had an insurmountable task to workout for 145 minutes. Also, I had houseguests! So what did I do???? My HGs and I took an 100 minute walk and then while they were taking naps....I walked the additional 45 minutes on the treadmill!

This thread is a great idea.....how about a November Challenge!!
 
My times for 22-28 are low again I missed a few days. :(

10/25-25 minutes of WATP(side was hurting bad had to stop)
10/28-30 minute walk.


Total 55 minutes.

Looking like I will only make 500 minutes. :( Next month though I will make 1000 minutes.
 
I managed 1374/1200 for the month. Not sure if I will top it off this weekend or not. I have so much stuff to do.
This has been an inspirational tool to keep focused on doing all things necessary to be healthy.
Everyone you did a great job whether you met your goal or just tried.
Keep on keepin' on!

Total exercised through 10/27 - 1900 min :sunny:

10/28 - 180 min walking
10/29 - 180 min walking, bowling, bicycle
10/30 - 120 min - swimming, walking, line dancing
10/31 - 120 min - swimming, bicycle, strength & flexibility

Week #5 total through 10/30 - 600 min
Contest to date total - 2500 min
Oct Goal 2500 min

I can't believe I'm actually going to make this goal! :cheer2:
I just have to get out there tomorrow & get moving! I only have 120 min to go, & I will do it! :moped: This challenge really has been a challenge for me, but it has kept me moving even when I really didn't feel like moving, so I'm really grateful for all of you, & especially for Rae Ann for doing all the organizational work! :flower1:

It was looking pretty unlikely for a while, but I refused to give up & I did it! I think making goal for this challenge means more to me than any of the others so far because I really had to work for it!

Good job, challengers, for getting moving this month! Exercise really does make a difference!
 
Yikes! I can't believe I haven't tracked anything this month! I haven't done *nothing*, and the majority of my activity came on my vacation to New Orleans this month. But I never wrote anything down, and was super lazy about going to the gym.

I'm going to have to make it a priority to track my activity in November!

Congrats to all the Exercisers in October. V. impressive!

Well, I did much better this week than last week. I have another 535 minutes to add, making my total for the month 1360/1200!!
