Wish DVC Member's Cruise Sold Out

Honestly, this has been one error after another. My friend inadvertently disconnected after we waited 65 minutes last night!! She is trying this morning again.

Early on, you paid when you booked. Please, please bring that back in the future.

She was just given 198 minute wait time, and she has been holding for an hour. This is awful.


I am happy to say...that message was false. She connected with them shortly after. So it was more than one and a half hour wait, but not the 198 minutes. Thank heavens.

My credit card was charged...we are in!

Call MS and they have a prompt you can select to pay for the cruise specifically.

My friend has today off, and it looks as if it will take all day.

Disney overall seems to be overinflating the hold times the phone gives like the wait times in the parks. I called to book a Capture Your Moment photo package at AK and though calling RIGHT at 7 it said my hold was "over an hour". Less than 20 minutes later I was booked for my birthday!!

I hadn't received a call yet for payment so I called today at 11 am. Wait time quoted at 58 minutes which was accurate. CM very nice; whole process took about 30 minutes which included being put on a waitlist for a 3B and buying insurance.

Still waiting for it. I have called DVC member services several times to as about, and each time was told it might take a couple more weeks.
The last time I called the member services person told me that the group that actually made the DCL reservations for them had been laid off (may she said furloughed) which was why it was taking longer than usual.

People on the FB group for this cruise are reporting that the cruise has appeared for some of them at disneycruise.com. Mine hasn't appeared yet, but hopefully soon.

Mine shows on the "Castaway Club" page along with my prior cruises, but it's not yet showing as an upcoming cruise under "My Reservations".

My DVC cruise appears there too, on the Castaway Club page. It does not state Disney Wish, but it has the correct dates of the cruise and the cabin number.

My DVC wish cruise is showing up now on the castaway site too. I just checked it the other day to confirm my spring break cruise dates on the Fantasy and it wasn’t listed so it’s definitely a new development.

This is the first that I can even see the $250 placeholder at the top of the CC list. I had to do a double take as the year says 2023, and we aren’t there yet!

I used the "Contact Us" option on the DCL website earlier this morning and about 2 hours later I got an email with our reservation number for the cruise. I was able to link it and can now see it on the website and app.
