I just watched the video, but have to admit I was hoping for deck plans somehow. I want to sail on the wish that first summer (probably not more expensive maiden voyage) but we like the Aft rooms on the Dream/Fantasy. Are there any TAs around that might know if they have these on the Wish?

Not exactly sure why my whole thread for Wish Deck Plans was merged in to a thread asking if there was any information on it.

Because they are both on the exact same topic. One was a question, the other the answer.

I removed the ? in the topic if it helps.

Are there virtually no interior rooms on the Wish? Most decks look they only have outside rooms. Very different to the other ships.
There are a few. Deck 11 forward. Deck 10 & 9 forward, mid and aft. Deck 8 forward & aft. Deck 7 & 6 forward. Deck 2 forward & mid. About 87 of them, total.

Decks 6-10 Aft have verandah rooms. Many of them are accessible. Deck 10 has the Royal Suites.

(Not a TA; it’s on the DCL website.)

I’m so confused. What exactly was wrong with it that you had to change it? OK, they may have been similar. So what? Is it a bandwidth issue and needing to not have too many threats?

Putting threads that deal with the same topic together helps keep things straight. When you have multiple threads all asking/discussing the same subject, it can get confusing.

Deck plans for the wish are available here:

https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/ships/deck-plans/
Choose "Disney Wish" from the dropdown of the ship names.

A few caveats:

On some decks they have most or all of it blocked out with no details.

Unlike on the other ships when you click on a stateroom it pops up a a little bubble with the stateroom category and some info about it, for the Wish it does not.

However, if you navigate to the "deck plans" section at the bottom of this page https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/why-cruise-disney/wish/ you can click on stateroom types on a deck [click the icon above the stateroom type name] and it will highlight that stateroom type on that deck. That gives a rough way of figuring out which is which... and if you pair it with the other deck plan info it gives a fuller picture. Still kind of messy though.

Also, there is stateroom type info available here: https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/ships/wish/staterooms-overview/ which has additional info too.

Please excuse if this was already mentioned in one of the Wish threads. Has anyone noticed that the Wish only has 2 banks of elevators - forward and middle ish. Unlike all the other ships with forward, mid & aft.

Interesting, I didn't pay attention to that yesterday. If the Wish's deck plans are accurate, it looks like the Wish has more elevators (16) than Dream/Fantasy (14) and Magic/Wonder (12) but in two banks instead of three.
