I just got off of the Disney Wish on Friday and already booked my next on for December 2023. I absolutely loved it. I’m 38 by the way. I did have my 16 yo son with me, but we were only together for dinner and certain events. Otherwise he was roaming the boat with friends he connected with. There definitely are a lot of pros/cons to the boat and everyone has their own opinion. What I loved the most was wandering around the boat and enjoying the atmosphere. The decor is mind blowing. Each level and the way it’s different than the other
Disney cruise boats is amazing. This time we were in a Frozen room on Deck 6, which consisted of two pictures from Frozen and the carpet outside of our room was Frozen theme. I didn’t really do many adult activities, since I’m single and I don’t mingle well with others. But I did check out several of the bars/lounges and enjoyed everything they had to offer. I did some trivia and karaoke; which is definitely out of my comfort zone. The food in my opinion was delicious. Especially at the Marvel restaurant. I wasn’t impressed with the Frozen experience. I was more intrigued my the art work that was hanging up in the hallway to the restaurant. It was like you were in their house. It was definitely hard to get around; I got lost a few times. But after day two, I was fine. The hallways where the staterooms are, are a bit narrow. So I didn’t like that. I’ve only been on the Magic and Dream; and Dream is my favorite of those two. I’m still deciding between the Wish and Dream. I definitely think if you enjoy going on Disney cruises, it’s well worth giving it a chance. Good luck!
Also, I love Moana and the Moana decor they had on the boat brought me to tears. I was just bummed they didn’t have any Moana stuff to purchase from any of the shops. I wasn’t as excited about the shops as I thought I would be. Meh. But next year, we’ll be staying on Deck 10 and our room theme is Moana. So I’m excited about that. My daughter who’ll be 15, who’s special needs, I’m sure is going to just love it.
