We’ve never sailed concierge before but considering make our first concierge sailing in the Wish. A few things I’m trying to sort out.

The difference between the family verandah rooms and the 1 bedrooms aside from the physical space…does being in a 1 bdrm give me better odds of getting the cabana which I know has been tricky for some Wish concierge guests?

The Palo/Enchante in room dining in the 1 bedrooms, can it be brunch or just dinner? What about the MDR service to the room…lunch or just dinner?

And another question…do you tip concierge staff in cash or can it be lid via an onboard account? Do they give you slips for all the concierge people?

Thanks!

I think that I can answer most of these for you!

1.) There is no advantage to the one-bedroom with regards to cabanas. Many posts on here have been from one-bedroom bookings who were shut out of the cabana (some were offered one later via waitlist).

2.) You cannot get Palo/ Enchante dining with the one-bedroom. That’s only for the top-tier suites. You get a special 2B/ 2A menu from the Concierge kitchen (since the Wish actually has a fully functioning kitchen in the lounge, finally) that will have the offerings for breakfast and for lunch/ dinner. There are examples posted online and easily found. You can of course also order the regular room service, and the hours are in the app/ on the Concierge menu for all in-room dining.

3.) You can pay in cash or add to your onboard account. In order to pay with onboard account, you can either ask the concierge staff to add it, or if that feels awkward, you can ask Guest Services to do it for you. They give you one slip, so it’s really not reasonable, as there are bartenders, food attendants, assistants to the above, the kitchen‘s chef, and at least Concierge hosts, so that aspect of tipping has been heavily debated.

I hope that this helps!
