gift exchange? For somereason this came to me tonight as i was cooking supper and thinking about all my wish friends and how much you all have meant to me and how gratful i was to have all of you. I know it's silly and possibly sappy but you guys are like family here. With Thankgiving coming i just got to thinking about celebrating the holiday season together as a wish family. Would anyone here be interested in doing a WISH exchange? I was thinking anyone interested could pm me there names and addresses. Thankgiving Day could be our deadline to sign up. Then i could write all the names down and i would match you up a "secret" wish pal. If you guys are interested i will put more thought into this and get some rules and dates lined up for mailing dealines and such. Let me know your feelings on this is there interest in it?

I am definitely interested in this, however, I am leaving for Disney on the 27th of November and won't be back until December 11th...Is that going to be a problem as far as when we are sending out packages?? I really would love to join in on this!

Hey guys thanks so much for joining in. Those that have not pm'd me a mailing address that santa delivers too please go ahead as i have a running list going. There are NO dates that will interere with this wish gift exchange I'll set up a nice range of dates you can send/rec'v packages and i'm sure it'll be close to christmas when we could all use a nice surpise from a wish friend to set down relax and see what a friend sent to you. I'm thinking Delivery dates could be Dec 10-20th. If you needed to send one earlier or later you'd certainly could anytime after you rec your name. Since dealine to sign up is Thankgiving Day I will pm everyone there buddy by Nov 30th that'll give me time to pair everyone up. Actually i may give the list to my dh to pair us up so as it's all fair even for me. I wanna play too you know.LOL So send those pm's and we'll get started collecting address's. Then you can snoop the boards for a couple weeks to find out more about your buddy!

I would love to be a part of this, but I don't think that it will be possible. We leave for WDW on the 30th Nov. we return on the 16th Dec. So that does not leave me enough time to mail my pressie from the UK in order for it to be received my Christmas.

Also can I ask when setting up your mail dates that those of us outside the US, in the UK, Italy and Japan (I think those are the places our WISHers live) need extra time for shipping as our mail is a lot slower than yours in the US.

Okay guys lets do this go ahead and give me your addy's NOW so pm them in as soon as possible. Here's what we'll do that should suit most everyone's needs and allow you to hit the sales the day AFTER thankgiving too!!!

ANYONE WANTING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE WISH EXCHANGE, DEADLINE TO GET YOUR MAILING ADDRESS'S INTO MY PM BOX WILL BE NO LATER THAN NOON EST ON NOVEMBER 23RD. THATS THE SUNDAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING. I WILL START MACTHING EVERYONE UP AND HAVE EACH OF YOU "SECRETLY NOW" PAIRED NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT EST ON NOVEMBER 23RD. PACKAGES WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE SEND/REC'D STARTING ON NOVEMBER 28TH-DECEMBER THE 20TH!

If for some reason anyone can not meet these dates notify me in your pm i will make a special note to send along with your address about dates you will NOT be home to rec a gift so that your partner will note any special dates you request NOT to be mailed too you. If you can work with this time frame of mail/rec please sign up. Also ANY NEW thread with information from me about this will have WISH EXCHANGE in the subject line so just watch for updates.

I will post a NEW THREAD when i have matched everyone up so that you guys can be sure to check your pm box's and ask any questions about the exchange before you run out to buy gifts. Also when November 28th rolls around i will start a thread WISH EXCHANGE sent/rec'd thread so we can all share together on who's still shopping who's rec'd and who's sending out there gifts this will be so fun.

I am getting so excited! This will be a hoot. Remember these are just guildlines if you need to mail/rec on certain dates pls let me know in you pm. Oh we are gonna shop till we drop. I just love Christmas now i get to share my favorite time of the year with all my friends at WISH.

For each of you that have pm'd me (exception of TARA) i have mailed you a confirmation pm back. If i've missed anyone let me know. No one is too new to join we are all on wish for the same purpose to encourage one another to lead healthier lifesyles. I doewdw feels like many of us. We have bonded together with common goals and sharing our holidays together would be wonderful.

As far as $$$ guidelines i really have'nt thought to put a dollar amount on our packages. I feel like no one knows your budget better than you and we are (most of us) are grown ups. I think we can just all work within our personal budgets. Unless you guys want to set a $$ guidline up well go with using good judgement.

I'm getting so excited it'll be hard to wait to see who gets who now! This is just way to much fun. I want you all to know how YOU all make this so neat.
