It's that time again and I thought I'd go ahead with this thread so I could get on with my holiday. I hope that's okay. I am down 3.25 lbs this week. A total of 39lbs gone (almost to my new clippee.LOL) I started this journey at 234.5 and now i'm at 195.5! I'm so proud. I finally had more than a 2.75 or 2.5 lb loss. I'm so excited about that. I hope the rest of my loser buddies have a wonderful holdiay! Now, on to finish my Easter Dinner before family arrives.

TAMMY!!!!!! That is AWESOME!!!! Did I miss a big ONEDERLAND post by you? ;) CONGRATULATIONS! The 40 pound clippie will be yours some time this week!!!!

Well, I am down another 2.5 pounds for a total of 12.5 pounds! Woo-hoo!!!! 2.5 more until my 15 pound clippie and 1.5 more to reach my first goal!!!!! If I can get rid of that 1.5 by next week, I will have reached my first goal 3 weeks early! That would be fine by me, because anything after that gives me wiggle room for my trip. I have no problem staying OP with American food (ha ha!) but I am looking forward to a scone slathered in cream and strawberry jam. Mmmmm, forbidden scone! ;) ha ha!

Oh, I've lost 12 3/4 inches since I started measuring on Feb. 28. :) WOW! Lost 3 3/4 over the last two weeks. I'm not sure I'm measuring my waist in the right spot. Is that right over my bellybutton? :jester:

Happy Easter and good luck, everyone! xo

GO TIG GO! Your doing it! You will reach you goal by next week forsure! I'm so proud of you. I did post a onderland post under the check in last week but not separtly. I have a long way to go before i can even think about scones.YUM I am however setting aside a LONE hersey kiss for a treat today.LOL It's the little things right.LOL I got some new sleep shorts outfits from the Easter Bunny today! SIZE LARGE OMG i am excited to see if they fit. I'm in XL and that will give me something to look forward to. I even got new levi shorts size 14 and a large shirt and and new underclothes from the Bunny this year. The shorts and shirt are very snug putting it mildly but man i'm tickled my husband gave me something to shoot for and to gauge my success with. I'll be in those new clothes in just a few weeks i just know it! Congradulations again what a wonderful week you had! I have'nt really gotten excited until this week about my progress. It hit me i'm almost half way to GOAL!

THanks Partyofsix!! Way to go. I forgot to post the thread before I went to bed last night and just now thought of it!! You are truly and inspiration!! Way to go!!

I'm not weighing in until tomorrow, but I just wanted to congratulate Tammy and Karen. You are both doing so well! Keep up the great work!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

According to my scale I have lost 4 pounds. I don't believe it!
I will weigh myself tomorrow at Curves.
I am hoping I have lost another 3 lbs. but will believe it tomorrow!

Tammy! Awesome job!!

We all are doing quite well with this.

PartyofSix...Congratulations on your 3.25 loss!! That is wonderful and more weight gone forever!! :) Good for you!

TigH...Congratulations on your 2.5 pound loss!! That is amazing what you have lost in Inches!! What a huge accomplishment!! You should be very proud! :):)

Lisa...Four pounds is wonderful!! :) Isn't it great to step on that scale and a weight loss? I am just loving my scale now, instead of my usual kick it when I walk by! LOL:p

Congrats everyone, those are great numbers!! Way to go!! I hope you all have a Happy Easter!! :):)

PartyofSix - 3.25 lb loss that is great for one week

TigH - Oh my look at all those inches and pounds gone. You'll be at your goal probably in two days my friend. Great job.

Lisa - 4 lbs in one week is spectacular. Way to go!

Everyone has done a great job this week. I don't weigh in until Thursday but it doesn't look good so far, looks like I gained a pound. I will work extra hard at Curves this week.

Tammy, Karen and Lisa- You are three HUGE losers this week! I am SO PROUD of all of you!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I weighed in yesterday, down 2.4 pounds!!!!! I'm .5 pounds away from 25, so I may cheat and do a mid-week weigh in because I WANT MY NEW CLIPPIE!!!

edited to add: I just had to open a new bag of dog food for Sambuca, my Lab mix eating machine. I buy 25 pound bags of dog food, and I could hardly lift it! And that's how much I've taken off! I was carrying ALL THAT around all the time? No wonder my knees were complaining!

Congrats to everyone! You are all so inspiring!

Kathytx- if you're gonna cheat- that's the way to do it!!! :p

lynr- don't worry about that lb- they are known to disappear quickly around these boards!

Well I lost 5 pounds my first week of WW. My next WI day is Thursday so I'll post again then.

Okay I was thinking of a snack (you're right it wasn't really a wise choice one) - but can't possible have it now after reading all the losses - makes me want to be a loser, too! Thank you all for such great inspiration - I'll check in on Wed my WI day but just had to say "CONGRATS" to all the losers so far, and may there be many more this week!!

OOPSS! I gained 2...wrong direction!!! I don't let these set backs get me down though. Back to business tommorrow and I'm sure I'll see a loss next week. I'm really wanting that 20 pound clippie.

Great job to all you guys! You all keep me going!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Have a great week!!!

PartyofSix That is just terrific! I would have been thrilled to lose 2.5 pounds instead of gaining two pounds last week, though. How exciting for you that you lost more than 3 pounds of fat. Gone forever...isn't that great?

That 40 pound loss clippie is practically in your siggie already. Are you and John having a race or something? ;)

Good job this week. I'm glad you are proud of yourself because you should be proud. You have come a long way on this path to better health and you did it all by yourself. Oh sure, WISH provided the support but you did the hard part all by yourself. I'm proud of you. Almost time for you to post a new picture. I suppose we can wait until you have earned that 40 pound loss clippie, though :)

I think it is so neat that your dh gave you a gift of clothing and something to aim for, sounds like a keeper to me :)

TigH WOW, another 2.5 pounds gone forever and you are achieving your goals way ahead of schedule. What an awesome accomplishment.

You are getting absolutely teeny, too. 12.5 inches smaller, that is terrific! I'm so proud of you.

lisajl Holy Cow!!!! You lost 4 pounds in one week? That is wonderful news! I hope it's still missing on your official weigh in day.

lynr I don't weigh in until Thursday either. We are weigh in buddies :teeth:

KathyTX WOO HOO!!! 2.4 pounds of fat gone forever, 4 pounds of ugly fat too :) I'm really proud of you so I hope you are proud of yourself!

What a great example that bag of dog food is for you. Next time you feel the urge to get off your eating plan, just pick up a new bag of dog food, that should remind you and keep you motivated :teeth:

Nancy You are my weigh in buddy, too. How neat :)

Dizzy-Disney4 Was that nasty bloat fairy at your house, too? He visited me last week :( Oh well, I love your attitude. You are positive and determined. Perfect!

Hang in there, you will have that 20 pound loss clippie very soon, I'm sure of it.

Congratulations losers, {{{HUGS}}} to the victims of the bloat fairy. Hang in there everyone.

Onward and downward!

Tammy, you must be so excited. So close to 40, and almost halfway to GOAL! Awesome!

TigH great numbers on the measuring. Fantastic work!

Lisa, I'd take those four pounds and run! lol Keep up the good work!

Lyn, I'll bet you were looking at the scale sideways. By Thursday, I'm sure that it will be more friendly.

Kathy, I'll bet you have that 25 pound clippie before you know it. Super!

Dizzy-Disney, you have the right idea. When it goes in the wrong direction, turn it around! :)

I did weigh in today and I stayed the same. I was weighed and measured at Curves yesterday, and showed (for the past 5 weeks) a 7.3 pound loss (I WISH it were 2 pounds a week, but I'll take this, thanks) , 3.75 inches and lowered my BMI by 2%.

That tells me that I'm on my weigh, but I can be working those machines even harder. And now (thanks, glo) that I am going to add the WATP tapes on off days, hoping that I'll do even better next month!

Congratulations to all the losers on this board-whether you lost weight or not. We are hopping right along!

Debbie Isn't it a good feeling to know that you can maintain your weight? Maintaining is a sign of success in my book.

You're getting smaller too :teeth: Over 7 pounds missing in action, 3.75 inches smaller and 2% less body fat! Way to go, my friend, I'm very proud of you.

You are such a ray of sunshine, here on WISH, you always make me smile :)

Guys, I could *really* use a hug today. I'm feeling super depressed because I gained 2.4 pounds. :( I refuse to give up, but I am so sad. I now weigh more than when I started WISH (and also the most I've ever weighed). I really want this weight off, but I feel doomed to failure. I looked up my happy post from last week's weigh in, and it has encouraged me some. I'm just gonna keep on keepin' on toward my goal. I have readjusted my 1st short term goal--I would like to get my 5 pound clippie before my WDW trip (which is just under a month away). I need to lose 1.25 pounds per week on average, so I will need lots of encouragement. I'm not letting this stop me!!!

(((((((Elisabeth)))))) You have a great plan to keep on track and work harder! You can do this you know you can. Maybe you should look at what you did last week, exercise and eating habits and make needed adjustments. If you have'nt found www.fitday.com go there and journal it's a lifesaver for weeks like this when you down you can really see your food no, no's, and your exercise weaknesses so you can make adjustments and get back on track straight away. Remember drinking water is a very important part of your success. I WISH you a great new start this week you can do this. I look forward to seeing you with all smiles next sunday!

Oh, Elisabeth, sweetie!!! {{{ HUGS }}} We know you can make this first goal, and we know you're very motivated to be at your goal weight for the wedding!

You're doing Weight Watchers, right? Do you go to meetings, or are you doing it on your own? You know you have LOTS of WW sisters (and brothers) right here. If you would like some suggestions, you could post a couple days of your journal here, and maybe get some pointers.

Do you have any special situations or temptations you'd like some pep talks to help deal with? Different meal ideas? Program questions? We're here for any of that!

If you just want sympathy, you can get plenty of that here, too!

Your first goal is very doable, and I'm really proud of your never-give-up attitude. You CAN do this- let us help you!
