See what happens when real life gets in the way of my WISHing? Look at all of the celebrating I've missed out on
snels Sandy, you lost five pounds? That's wonderful and 21 pounds altogether gone forever.
I'm sorry to hear that you have to have surgery. I hope you have an easy time and very little pain.
Don't worry about not being able to work out after your surgery. You will be right back at it soon, probably sooner than you think. You will be so much more healthy than you are right now and you are going to be surprised at how much better you feel and how much energy you have. I think you are going to be glad you had this surgery once it is all over.
You sound a little down in the dumps about this, are you feeling a little sad, Sandy? {{{HUGS}}} my friend. Is there something bad wrong causing you to need this surgery? I sure hope not.
Eat lots of protein this next couple of weeks so you can heal up well and quickly and as soon as you feel well enough please come visit us here on WISH. You can keep us in line, even if you aren't able to do your work out.
You'll see, you're going to be just fine. When is your surgery scheduled?
glo YeeeHaaaa! That's such happy news glo. I know you are thrilled with this loss, I sure would be.
I'm so proud of you for not giving up. I know how frustrated you were and maybe a tad bit depressed (maybe?) But you never gave up and that makes me really proud.
Hurrah for the Alex challenge and Hurrah for you, my friend. You have come so far and worked so hard and you are such a success. You are an inspiration and motivation for us all. You are our WISH shining star.
Tara Everyone on this board has a generous spirit, that's what makes WISH such a special place. I just happen to talk more than anyone else

{{{HUGS}}}
kamgen Kamy! You ate Key Lime Pie and you didn't gain anything? No fair!
I hope you know I'm teasing with you sweetie. You have a wonderfully positive attitude and it shines through in your smile
As you know, I think that maintaining your weight is great. Losing is a little more fun but maintaining is terrific. Well, when you consider that the only remaining alternative is to have gained. I'll take the maintaining any time
Besides it proves that you are going to be able to maintain your weight loss when you have finished losing as much as you want to lose. Isn't that a great thing to know?
Hang in there, the weight will come off eventually. That's what I keep telling myself, anyway

I'M TEASING
Beanie I like your attitude! I like the way you celebrate your success too. Just think you could gained that pound instead. What luck that you didn't
You're doing so well with your Atkins plan, Bean. I'm proud of you and can't wait for December when we will both be svelte and not hiding in baggy clothing

And you're buying the drinks

You are a great example for me and a motivating presence here on WISH. I'm so glad you are part of my support group.
disneyfan551 Way to go!!! WOW! 4.5 pounds in one week? I don't care if you consider it a true loss or not, to me that is amazing.

You are lighter, wearing a smaller size and on your way to goal. I'm so proud of you.
Nikole My tall and absolutely gorgeous friend. Looks like the whoosh fairy visited you this week. <s>3 pounds</s> 6--6 pounds gone forever!!!! Way to go. .
ATTENTION WISHERS: I made an error, I cheated Nikole out of 3 whole pounds! Im so sorrydo you think I could have made a mistake and said she had lost 9 pounds? Noooooo, I had to say she had lost half as much as she actually did. I cant believe she is still even speaking to me now.
I can't wait to see the photos from your cruise. You are going to have a ball. Try to have fun and make the best choices you can but don't obsess over the eating too much. If you gain a pound or two back, we'll help you get rid of it.
I hope you are feeling proud right now because I'm sure proud of you!
anniet TOM and a business trip and you still lost 1.1 pounds, that's just amazing!
I was going to say you were really lucky but it wasn't luck at all, was it? It was your determination, resolve and careful planning that pulled this off. Way to go!

crs7568 You lost 6 pounds in one week? WOW, way to go!
I agree with you about Dr. Atkins. I just wish I hadn't listened to the medical world 30 years ago, I wouldn't be having to go through this now and I wouldn't have gained 100 pounds
But I have Atkins now and I'm glad

I'm glad you are following the Atkins plan, too. Looks like it's working for you.
Do you feel successful? Because you are definitely successful.
Now, where is your WISH clipart? Did you take the challenge yet? You aren't ashamed to be associated with us are you?
I'm just so happy and proud for you. Good job!
TeresaNJ You lost 3 pounds in one week. That is progress! You are on your way to goal now.

Mish19 You lost 1.6 pounds! That's great, you should be feeling proud of yourself. See, whatever happened last week doesn't count. You didn't know that? Nope, doesn't count. That was last week, over and done, no beating yourself up or feeling bad allowed. You don't even get to say, I lost 1.6 pounds but....because it doesn't count. Isn't that just the greatest rule? That's one of my very favorite WISH rules
You are on track now and you are doing great!
lynr So what's the bad news? You have a trip to see Mickey and you maintained your weight this week. Did I miss something?
I think it's great that you maintained your weight. That is just so much better than gaining, don't you think? It's also proof that when you finish losing the weight you want to lose you will be able to keep it off.
today I have good news and bad news
I'm not trying to argue or be unpleasant but I think you had some good and some good news. I can't find the bad part
Have a magical trip and hurry back to us. You know I like to keep my WISH friends near me. You help keep me motivated.
Happy anniversary!

Alice Sr. Well, is that frustrating or what? That stinking bloat fairy
Grrrr...if I could get my hands on him would he be in trouble! Tell you what, if I can find him?her?it?, I'll hold him and you just knock the tar out of him. Next time you can hold him and I'll knock the tar out of him, deal?
This fluid will go away soon. I certainly know how frustrating this can be. But you followed your eating plan, did your work outs, you worked hard, so you know that you didn't gain real fat.
I'll bet that next week, after the fluid is gone, that you drop more weight than you expect. Hang in there you are doing everything right so I have no doubt that you will succeed.
You can't lose your motivation, we won't let you
TIdoublegaER I'd be happy about losing 3 pounds, too. Way to go! What a success you are.
Looks like you have found the best eating plan for you, that's great. Keep it up and that 40 pounds you lose will be gone soon.
jlawall Slow and steady wins the race. You lost .8 of a pound and I think that is much better than gaining 2.5 pounds like I did. Don't you agree? And did you know that if you keep losing .8 pounds every week you will lose 41.6 pounds in one year? That's a lot of weight.
I think you did great this week. You stuck to your plan and you lost .8 pounds. That's progress! I'm proud of you.
AlreadyexcitedGrammy I'm glad you maintained and didn't gain anything. That's not easy to do on a weekend away. Good for you!
