WISH check-in week of 4-27

I Lost 1.6 tonight! But I had gained 2.4 last week, sooo I am .8 away from breaking even. Kinda discouraged about that. I can't wait to get rid of that .8!

Thx Annie,

I got up and walked this morning.........it must have been the pixie dust!!!

Ok, today I have good news and bad news.
I maintained this week and didn't loose or gain anything. The good news is I am off to see the Mouse tomorrow for our 20th Anniversary. Hopefully I won't gain to much while I am away.

Congrats to everyone this week. You all did a great job. See you on the 12th.

Lyn;)

Happy anniversary, Lyn!!! Have a great trip!!! :) I'll send you more "maintaining" pixie dust!!! :) Go to the Flower and Garden Show in EPCOT! The orchids in Mexico are beautiful!!! :)

Weigh in day and holding steady... I'm not too disappointed about it this week because since my last weigh in I don't think we've cooked at home yet. DH's parents came and went, with many restaurants in between and still some leftovers in the fridge.

Wow! The losing trend seems to be getting stronger and stronger every week. BIG congratulations to all who lost! And to those who maintained or gained an ounce or two, your determination is there! It WILL start showing soon!!

I lost 3.6 this week!! That makes my WISH/WW total loss 19.8 pounds!! My WW leader was even asking if there was anything else I could remove to get rid of that additional 2/10 of a pound so that I could be at an even 20 pound loss! But without totally stripping down, I didn't think it was possible. But that's OKAY!! It will show up next week!

For those of you who are discouraged with your weekly results, if you're true to your program (whatever it may be), it WILL even out in future weeks!! I showed a 0.6 gain last week, so my two-week loss was an even 3.0 pounds and I certainly can't complain about that!!!

Next week I am claiming my 20 pound clippie!!!!

Good News....I finally weighed myself this morning...I should have done it on Weds AM...but I couldn't get out of bed...anyhow....

I have lost 7 lbs!!! I can't believe it!!! I am still doing the zero carb thing..with the inclusion of a small salad.

I guess I need to figure out how to get my 5lb clippie!!

Send some pixie dust that I can drop another 3 lbs before May 11th...Thats when we leave for our trip!!

Tracy

HURRY! I had weigh in today and I am down 4#, for a total of 6.6#!!! I am doing the happy dance!

I am using the visual of butter, that is 4 blocks of butter melted away! I can hardly believe it.

Now I can legally display my 5 # clippie again!

Just got back from "Measuring Day" at Curves and am very proud to announce that my total weight loss to date is 7.5 lbs. And to make it even better, they said 5.43 lbs of that loss was FAT! HoooooRaaaaaay!!!!

I'm off to claim my 5 pound clippie!

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Well, I am totally bummed, I lost 2.6 last week and gained exactly 2.6 back this week. I have been religious about my journal. I'm allowed 161 pnt. a week and I used 147 plus I rode my bike 9 miles on Sat. walked 4.5 miles (trail) on Sun. lifted weights on Mon. did Paletes 3 times this week, 50 crunches every other day, and walked 1.1 miles twice in the neighborhood. I hope I don't loose my motivation for next week. Wah, Wah, Wah!!!!
But congratulations to all you loosers.

Alice

I had my first weigh-in this week after rejoining WW. I lost 3 lbs! I'm really happy about that. Since last June, I've lost 13.8 lbs. Now only 40 more to go.

Hello all......well......I lost .8lbs for a total of..............26.4lbs. total loss so far.............I am really relieved!!!!

Thx to all for your support. Any loss is amazing! Keep up the good work all!

I was on an awesome weekend away and knew there would be lots and lots of food. Well, I told myself I would be pleased if I could just maintain, I did and I am pleased.

Going for a minus next WI - Can't believe how much every one has lost so far. We are such a good bunch of losers, and you can find us all right in one place just waiting for others to tell us so!!

See ya next week on Wed - hopefully with a loss

Thanks to OhMom (my personal signature fairy - I have my "outfit" changed)

I really like the looks of that number 10 (only time in my life I'll have something in common with Bo Derek), but I am sure I'll like 15 more tho!!!

I had my weigh in tonight...very surprised because I lost another 4 pounds:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

That brings my total to 11.6 and 6.6 since I joined the wish challenge! I can't believe that I have lost over 10 pounds in just 3 weeks! Boy does this feel great!:bounce:

Weigh-in is on Tuesday - can't make Mondays' next week -hoping for some good results - have gone tight to the WW meals - counting points, have had bonus calories to use and you know, this is nothing like the WW plan from years ago. the nicest thing is the support - 2 other teachers are following it too, so we compare notes. :)

See what happens when real life gets in the way of my WISHing? Look at all of the celebrating I've missed out on :teeth:

snels Sandy, you lost five pounds? That's wonderful and 21 pounds altogether gone forever.

I'm sorry to hear that you have to have surgery. I hope you have an easy time and very little pain.

Don't worry about not being able to work out after your surgery. You will be right back at it soon, probably sooner than you think. You will be so much more healthy than you are right now and you are going to be surprised at how much better you feel and how much energy you have. I think you are going to be glad you had this surgery once it is all over.

You sound a little down in the dumps about this, are you feeling a little sad, Sandy? {{{HUGS}}} my friend. Is there something bad wrong causing you to need this surgery? I sure hope not.

Eat lots of protein this next couple of weeks so you can heal up well and quickly and as soon as you feel well enough please come visit us here on WISH. You can keep us in line, even if you aren't able to do your work out.

You'll see, you're going to be just fine. When is your surgery scheduled?

glo YeeeHaaaa! That's such happy news glo. I know you are thrilled with this loss, I sure would be.

I'm so proud of you for not giving up. I know how frustrated you were and maybe a tad bit depressed (maybe?) But you never gave up and that makes me really proud.

Hurrah for the Alex challenge and Hurrah for you, my friend. You have come so far and worked so hard and you are such a success. You are an inspiration and motivation for us all. You are our WISH shining star.

Tara Everyone on this board has a generous spirit, that's what makes WISH such a special place. I just happen to talk more than anyone else ;) {{{HUGS}}}

kamgen Kamy! You ate Key Lime Pie and you didn't gain anything? No fair! ;)

I hope you know I'm teasing with you sweetie. You have a wonderfully positive attitude and it shines through in your smile :)

As you know, I think that maintaining your weight is great. Losing is a little more fun but maintaining is terrific. Well, when you consider that the only remaining alternative is to have gained. I'll take the maintaining any time :)

Besides it proves that you are going to be able to maintain your weight loss when you have finished losing as much as you want to lose. Isn't that a great thing to know?

Hang in there, the weight will come off eventually. That's what I keep telling myself, anyway ;) I'M TEASING

Beanie I like your attitude! I like the way you celebrate your success too. Just think you could gained that pound instead. What luck that you didn't :)

You're doing so well with your Atkins plan, Bean. I'm proud of you and can't wait for December when we will both be svelte and not hiding in baggy clothing :) And you're buying the drinks ;)

Liz Look at you go! Another 2 pounds gone forever. Look at gorgeous shiny new clippie in your signature. Looks good on you.

You are a great example for me and a motivating presence here on WISH. I'm so glad you are part of my support group.

disneyfan551 Way to go!!! WOW! 4.5 pounds in one week? I don't care if you consider it a true loss or not, to me that is amazing.

Are you happy? Are you smiling? Are you proud of yourself? You'd better be proud, I'm sure proud of you. Good job!

campingcorgi Another .8 pounds gone forever! You are just steadily losing this weight, I think that's great.

You've even set a possible new goal for yourself. Amazing! You are so successful! Isn't that the greatest feeling in the world? Success! That's even a fun word to type :)

You are lighter, wearing a smaller size and on your way to goal. I'm so proud of you.

Nikole My tall and absolutely gorgeous friend. Looks like the whoosh fairy visited you this week. <s>3 pounds</s> 6--6 pounds gone forever!!!! Way to go. . ATTENTION WISHERS: I made an error, I cheated Nikole out of 3 whole pounds! I’m so sorry–do you think I could have made a mistake and said she had lost 9 pounds? Noooooo, I had to say she had lost half as much as she actually did. I can’t believe she is still even speaking to me now.

I can't wait to see the photos from your cruise. You are going to have a ball. Try to have fun and make the best choices you can but don't obsess over the eating too much. If you gain a pound or two back, we'll help you get rid of it.

I hope you are feeling proud right now because I'm sure proud of you!

anniet TOM and a business trip and you still lost 1.1 pounds, that's just amazing!

I was going to say you were really lucky but it wasn't luck at all, was it? It was your determination, resolve and careful planning that pulled this off. Way to go!

I have such an overwhelming feeling that finally I control what I eat, and it's no longer controlling me!!!!!!

Isn't that a wonderful feeling? What an inspiration you are to us all. Such a positive attitude and then there is that magical smile of yours :)

You are a wonderful example for me and an inspiration too. I'm glad you are part of my support group. You are on your way to goal and I'm just so proud of you.

crs7568 You lost 6 pounds in one week? WOW, way to go!

I agree with you about Dr. Atkins. I just wish I hadn't listened to the medical world 30 years ago, I wouldn't be having to go through this now and I wouldn't have gained 100 pounds :(

But I have Atkins now and I'm glad :) I'm glad you are following the Atkins plan, too. Looks like it's working for you.

Do you feel successful? Because you are definitely successful.

Now, where is your WISH clipart? Did you take the challenge yet? You aren't ashamed to be associated with us are you?

I'm just so happy and proud for you. Good job!

TeresaNJ You lost 3 pounds in one week. That is progress! You are on your way to goal now.

That's a great tip for managing to drink you water, thanks for sharing it with me. Now, stand up straight and be proud of yourself, because you, my friend are a success and a motivating presence here on WISH. I'm just so glad you are here.

Mish19 You lost 1.6 pounds! That's great, you should be feeling proud of yourself. See, whatever happened last week doesn't count. You didn't know that? Nope, doesn't count. That was last week, over and done, no beating yourself up or feeling bad allowed. You don't even get to say, I lost 1.6 pounds but....because it doesn't count. Isn't that just the greatest rule? That's one of my very favorite WISH rules :teeth:

You are on track now and you are doing great!

lynr So what's the bad news? You have a trip to see Mickey and you maintained your weight this week. Did I miss something?

I think it's great that you maintained your weight. That is just so much better than gaining, don't you think? It's also proof that when you finish losing the weight you want to lose you will be able to keep it off.

today I have good news and bad news

I'm not trying to argue or be unpleasant but I think you had some good and some good news. I can't find the bad part :)

Have a magical trip and hurry back to us. You know I like to keep my WISH friends near me. You help keep me motivated.

Happy anniversary!

ahutton Good job not gaining this week. I'll bet you lose weight next week, now that your company has gone.

I like your positive attitude! Hang in there.

Disneyaholic WOW! WOW! WOW! Losing 3.6 pounds in one week is just wonderful. Good job! That 20 pound clippie is just so near and yet so far.

I'll bet you get that new clippie next week. You are just doing so well with this, I'm proud of you. You are on your way to goal and getting closer every day! This is just so exciting!

You are in control and on your way! What a great example and motivating presence you are, here on WISH.

Luvinit When you delurk, you really delurk, don't you? Holy cow! 7 pounds lost in one week? That is terrific. Look how well you are doing. That is a gorgeous new clippie :)

I hope you are smiling and feeling proud of yourself. All of us are proud of you! I don't think you will have any trouble at all meeting that 3 pound goal you've set. You are just too succesful and May 11th is a whole 10 days away. Cinchie, you can do it!

PRINCESS VIJA Well, look at you go now! 3 more pounds gone forever and such a positive outlook. Does this make you feel good about yourself, or what? You are doing so well :)

Thank you for all you have done, here on WISH. Even when you were feeling discouraged you came here and urged all of us on, kept us motivated and kept us smiling. You are one of the special people who make WISH the special place it is and I appreciate you very much. I'm proud of you, too :)

CarolMN WOOHOO!!! Way to go! You are doing great. I love that new clippie of yours, it's so nice and shiny. Don't get too attached to this one, I'll bet you will be trading up to that 10 pound loss clippie very soon.

Isn't it a great feeling when you hard work and motivation finally start paying off. I'm so happy and proud for you. Good job!

Alice Sr. Well, is that frustrating or what? That stinking bloat fairy

Grrrr...if I could get my hands on him would he be in trouble! Tell you what, if I can find him?her?it?, I'll hold him and you just knock the tar out of him. Next time you can hold him and I'll knock the tar out of him, deal?

This fluid will go away soon. I certainly know how frustrating this can be. But you followed your eating plan, did your work outs, you worked hard, so you know that you didn't gain real fat.

I'll bet that next week, after the fluid is gone, that you drop more weight than you expect. Hang in there you are doing everything right so I have no doubt that you will succeed.

You can't lose your motivation, we won't let you :)

TIdoublegaER I'd be happy about losing 3 pounds, too. Way to go! What a success you are.

Looks like you have found the best eating plan for you, that's great. Keep it up and that 40 pounds you lose will be gone soon.

jlawall Slow and steady wins the race. You lost .8 of a pound and I think that is much better than gaining 2.5 pounds like I did. Don't you agree? And did you know that if you keep losing .8 pounds every week you will lose 41.6 pounds in one year? That's a lot of weight.

I think you did great this week. You stuck to your plan and you lost .8 pounds. That's progress! I'm proud of you.

AlreadyexcitedGrammy I'm glad you maintained and didn't gain anything. That's not easy to do on a weekend away. Good for you!

You must have made really good food choices while you were away. I'm proud of you. You're going to have that 10 pound loss clippie in no time at all, I'm sure of it. Be proud of yourself you are on your way to goal.

Nancy How wonderful. You've lost another 4 pounds. You are really good at this weight loss stuff.

You are a good example for me. You have a positive outlook and great determination. I'm proud of you and very glad that you are in my support group. Way to go!

26.4 pounds gone forever--you are so successful!

lovingthemouse You are so determined and motivated, what a great example you are for us all.

You have surrounded yourself with support. WW, colleagues and WISH. What a great idea. You are definitely on your way to goal. I'll bet you do great on Tuesday

Hi,
Thanks for your kind words of encouragement. My surgery is scheduled for May 19.
I am sure everything will be fine. I will feel better in a few weeks.
My husband is going to get a laptop for me to use if I can't get to my computer. Hopefully I will be able to visit with all of you a few days after surgery.
The good news is that we are going to Disney before my surgery!
I had to get a fix in before my trip to the hospital!
(That's what happens when you have an annual pass)
Thanks for all of your support.
God bless!
Sandy

Woo Hoo, a new laptop? It's almost worth having surgery just to get a laptop, not quite, but almost. As soon as you are home and controlling any pain you are having (I hope you have none) come see us.

I leave for Orlando on 5/19 but I'm taking my HP laptop and I'll check in when I can.

You're going to feel so much better when this is all over {{{HUGS}}}

I just gotta say kath....I look forward to your responses on this each time! You rock! :)

Thank you!!!

Pssst 3 lbs was last week this week it was 6 woo hoooooo heading for that 10 lb mark before my cruise! :)
