Good morning everyone! I hope everyone had a FANTASTIC week! (Regardless of what that dang scale said!) I know I did!!!

It was quite a week for me. My 8 year old beagle had to be put down. She had lung cancer. :( While she was my dog, she lived with my mom because she stressed far too much to be healthy when I brought her to my apartment. But mom misses having a dog too much, so we put a deposit down on a 3 week old female beagle. When she's old enough to leave her mother, my mom will have a gorgeous 8 week old beagle puppy.

I also became an uncle for the first time!!!!! I posted his photo on the community board, but I'm so proud I'll post it again!

And with all of this excitement and sadness, I still managed to be down .8, which is maintenance! Unfortunately, I did HORRIBLY this weekend, so I'll just have to start fresh tomorrow. :)

Here's the picture of Paul Xavier!

Have a fantastic week everyone!!!

congrats Dan!!!! Well the scale had no movement for me!!!! But those pair of size 20 jeans that have been in the closet that I wanted to wear by Easter did not fit last week but they do today!!! On the down side this will be a tough week. My grandmother passed away yesterday so I will hope to maintian again this week. Have a grea week everyone!!!!!!

Congratulations Dan! I remember that feeling when I became an Aunt for the first time. Paul Xavier is beautiful!

Hugs for all the sadness going on. Losing a dog (Dan) and a grandmother (Jiminy), I have been through both and I know how tough it can be. Hang in there.

I have had a rough two weeks just dealing with pre trip anxiety coupled with my son's depression (and TOM). I have turned to my usual coping mechanism, food. So needless to say I haven't been eating well. I have even been making excuses to drive the 20 minutes to wal-mart to buy a certain kind of cookies from their bakery. Not good!!!!! I need to pull myself out of this.
I guess the first step is recognizing it.

Even with all that, I am down one pound. I really don't know how.

My DH has stayed the same, no loss.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week. The weather is finally showing signs of warming up!!! :sunny:

Congratulations on the new nephew Dan! :Pinkbounc And for all of you going through trying times - :goodvibes:  Hope that this week will be better for you all. ::yes::

As for me I'm down 1 lb. :) Alway hoping for more of course ;) slowly but surely I'll get to goal! ::yes::

I've had a GREAT week! I lost 2 lbs., claimed my 20 lb. clippie, and got into ONEderland!! :teeth: Thanks for your support, everyone! :grouphug:

I am so happy to say that I lost 1.4 pounds this week, which earned me my 5 pound clippie exactly to the ounce! I have also decided to sign up to walk the half marathon at WDW. I'm trying to get my best friend and her mom to do it along with my mom. This will be a bit of a tough week for me because we have company coming to town so there will be lots of dining out. I just hope to maintain this week.

Dan, I am so sorry about the loss of your dog. Your new nephew is just precious though--I am sure he brought you some tremendous happiness.

Jiminy, I am so sorry for your loss as well. My prayers are with both you and Dan as you grieve. {{{HUGS}}}

I'm so sorry for everyone's sadness this week. It makes it difficult to concentrate on losing weight when you are dealing with situations like these.

I had a good week and lost 3.5 pounds. I've achieve my April 1 challenge goal of losing 10 pounds plus lost an additional 1.5. I've also claimed my beautiful new 45 pound clippie.

I hope everyone has a great upcoming week! :)

I am hoping to lose 10 pounds this month, so wish me luck!!!

Sorry to hear about those having a tough week!! I am a stress eater and can only imagine how hard it must be to concentrate on healthy eating!!! Hugs to all who need them!!!!

I am looking forward to getting to know all of you better as I start my healthy lifestyle....again!!!

I'm so sorry to hear about the bad week some of you have had. It is hard to eat right when things are going well and losing a loved on just makes it harder. Hugs to you both.:grouphug:

On the bright side your nephew is just adorable. Look at all that hair.

I had an OK week. I'm down 1.2 pounds which is exciting because I have been stuck for a few weeks now. I have also been craving cake which is very strange because I don't really like cake that much. Oh well hopefully this week will be better. Hope everyone has a great week.:)

I am up a pound.

I had a bad food week and have no real outside stress to blame it on but work. It is also TOM which could be part of it.

I am trying to tighten up for this week. I am at home all week which makes food choices easier.

Well, my first WISH week is over...here's how I did.
I went down supposedly eight pounds, according to my start and finish. But, I know this isn't true and I think it has to do with what time of day I weighed in at (Evening vs. Morning). I will consistenly weigh myself in the morning now.

I did not post during the week, I don't know what to write! It's almost overwhelming, but the support feels great!

I started out great, walking the dog and exercising as much as I could (before and after school). I had to take the dog home because he wasn't happy in my apartment, then it got cold, and in turn, I did not exercise.

My boyfriend and I signed up today for two dance classes, ballroom dance and beginning Latin dance. I also am signing up for a Reebok Aerobics course. This will add over 4 hours of exercise to my week, not counting hours spent practicing our new moves in the living room.

I can't wait until some of this junk food is gone from my house so I can buy new healthier stuff. We are too broke to throw away all the macaroni and cheese and stuff, so I'm trying to eat it only in moderation.

Can anybody start an online journal? Do people comment on those and help you out on your journey? I really want to get down about 30 pounds, so I need as much help as I can get!

How do I sign up for the WDW Marathon/Half Marathon? I'm interested! Please tell me where I can find the details!

Sorry this is so long! Thank you all for being out there, and if there is any way I can be of support or if anybody is looking for a buddy in meeting their goals, please let me know!

I was baaaaaaaaad this weekend... no weight in for me today. :(

Here's to a brighter, happier week for everyone!

I'm down 1.5 lbs this week. Total 28.5. I sure wanted to earn that 30 lb clippie for the April Fool's challenge but, oh well. I'll keep on trying anyway.

:sunny:

No gain or loss for me, I was afraid that I might have been up a pound. My husband and I went out on Saturday for our Anniversary and I ate a bit more than I should have.
But staying even is okay.

My sympathies to those of you who've lost a dear family member this week. to you, Dan and Jiminy.

LittleMissMickey---Anyone can start an online journal, and it is a wonderful help to a lot of us. My buddies on my journal are keeping me focused and on track. It's a great way to be accountable to yourself. The posters over there are wonderful friends, and I'd encourage you to check into starting your own journal.

Congrats to everyone who's managed to lose this past week. Isn't it a great feeling? ::yes:: I'm down 1.5 pounds this week, which brings me to 18 pounds so far. I'm hoping for the 20 pound clippie next Monday. :teeth:

Have a good week, everyone!

NO gain or loss for me. Just losing a bunch of inches. Going down to size M when I go shopping for most of my stuff. That is a great thing for me.

Down a pound for me...finally!!! Also it pushes me into the 150s, goodbye 160's forever! ::yes::

Congratulations to everyone on their weight loss this week. Hugs to everyone who is going through rough times.

I lost another pound :D bringing the total loss to 10 pounds!!!

I got me a new clippie. :Pinkbounc

I lost .4 this week putting. Onward and downward.

Great job everyone!

Hi there! 2 pounds gone for me this week. :teeth: I'll need to step things up a little bit to make my goal of Onederland by May 15, but I'm still making progress. Only 2 more pounds to my next clippie, and 14 pounds to Onederland! I've also joined the Mother's Day challenge, setting a slightly ambitious goal of 12 pounds to push me towards my Onederland goal as well. Here's to seeing less of me in May! :p

Eating went all right this week. I'm getting better at listening to my stomach and leaving food on my plate in restaurants, even though it's really hard when the food is good. I did a little too much snacking on Saturday during a dinner party (and after the party as well), so I need to work on that in the future. And I will! ::yes::

The day is finally here - I'm running in my first race on Sunday, the Great Race in Los Gatos, CA. It's 4.0 miles long (I was wrong last week), and my goal is to run the entire way, with a time less than 48:00 (12:00 mile). I ran a "rehearsal run" yesterday morning, and I made it in 47:58 - so Sunday should go well... I hope! I'm sure I won't be passing many people, but as long as I finish ahead of the walkers, I'll be happy. ;) My "bib" with my race number arrived in the mail yesterday - # 940. I can't believe I'm really doing this!

I hope everyone is having a good week. :sunny:
