Well all we are going into our 6th week, can you believe it? AEG reminded us that after 6 weeks it becomes a habit, is that going to follow true in our case? Sorry I missed the chat last night. I was late getting home from Cub Scout meeting, then I had to finish up payroll for a client so that it could be overnighted to them this morning (their people do like to get their paychecks)::yes:: . Who all was in chat and how did it go? Was there any interesting talk going on?

I am in stress mode getting ready for WDW, there always seems like there is so much to do when you are getting ready to leave to go somewhere.

My committment for today is to do at least my 1 mile tape today, drink H20 and eat breakfast. I have fallen again with the eating breakfast. I am just not taking the time to do it and then it is lunch time before I know it. I have got to remember to eat that breakfast even if I'm not hungry. I'll report back in later.

Have a wonderful day everyone and I'm sending you all lots of PD to stick with your committments. Also, remember you don't have to be a chatter to hang out on this thread, we need all the support we can get and give as much as we can.:wave2:

Hey everyone!

I got up at 5a and did Complete Aerobics and Weight Training. Got DS6 up and he was really out of sorts. Whining and complaining but said he wasn't sick. I took him to the before school care and he threw up on the table before I even left. So now I am home for the day. He has been asleep since he got home. Poor baby. No more throwing up, but he hasn't eaten either.

Tammy- We missed you last night, but totally understand. Lets see, it was me, Bev, Kathy, Karen, AnnieT (sorry if I missed anyone) and a few people I didn't know.

Keep trucking with the breakfast, each time you do it, it's one more day closer to making it a habit.

My goal this week is to keep up with the exercise, water and maybe try to add eating more veggies and fruit.

Good Morning WISHers!:sunny:

Hi Tammy! When are you going to WDW?! How fun--and I agree--stressful, too! I think we're all doing so well with our committments, and for me, exercise has become a habit. Even though I enjoy my rest day, I'm anxious to workout the next. NEVER did I think I would feel this way about exercising, and I really believe that if I didn't have everyone's support and encouragement through this thread, I would not be doing as well as I am. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH, and especially you, Tammy, for starting it all! Good luck with your committments today, and especially getting in your breakfast--I struggle with eating it, also. Food just looks yucky to me in the morning (although I certainly gain an appetite for it the rest of the day)!

Hi Melanie! I'm so sorry your ds isn't feeling well--poor little thing. I'm glad he's getting some rest, and hopefully he'll be up and around soon. Hugs for him... Good luck with your committments this week--it can be so hard to keep up with them when you're taking care of an ill wee one, so don't get discouraged if you can't fit it all in. Hugs for you, too...

I'm sorry I missed Chat last night. Ds8 had a basketball game (he sunk two foul shots--woo hoo!), and by the time we got home, got him showered and in bed it was nearly 10. I hate late games--ds is so hopped up on adrenaline that it's hard to get him to sleep.:hyper: :hyper: :hyper: Hope you guys had a fun time!

I did Maximum Cardio Burn this morning, but haven't eaten yet (Oh, I hear ya about breakfast Tammy!). I made this cajun rice dish for dinner last night, and it was soooo goood! I hear the leftovers calling my name... I'll keep up with the exercise 6x/week, and eating well.

Six weeks everybody--WE RULE!:cool1: Make today a great one, WISHers!

Did 2 miles TM - few other exercised this AM and my weight class - gets me to the hour for the day.

I was a "true" chocoholic yesterday - whew glad that is over - used the flex pts for sure! Back to turkey, celery, apple for a healthy lunch today!

Now, Melc - can you give me the "lowdown" on the WW maximum on fiber - any serving - even if its over 5 grams that is the max number to use? No wonder my 0 pts tortilla tasted so good - it really isn't 0 pts. (just kidding - its still low - but I think I need to learn the correct way to count) Thanks

Yes, we are so close to a "habit" aren't we! I must say tho I will be glad when my contract expires - I am tired!!!! Yeah - I know it is a good thing I have one - I wouldn't have been exercising to this degree and even tho I am not losing - I think it has been very beneficial and I will continue - it's just that I might sleep in once and awhile ;) course now melc is up too and I don't think that she should be exercising alone in the early morn!

Have a good OP day everyone
T- just a few more days and just get the important stuff done - the rest will be waiting on you (paychecks - yep that was important) when you get home!

And Melc - you had an awesome WI - WTG! Hope your little fella is feeling better.

Hang in there all you committers - it is worth it (needed to tell myself that too!)

i feel habits forming!!!

you are all doing so well with exercising, its keeping me motivated! i have a new comittment to add:

* Aside from my 2xweek aerobics, i will run 2 x's a week also!

i have just committed to a relay in the flying pig marathon...so i need to start training!
i did stick with my weekend goal, stayed within points eating and did EFX and lifting saturday and 50 min spinning and a 3 mi run on sunday. wow it felt good to run outside!!!!:bounce:

tammy and LMD...
having trouble with breakfast??? i found an awesome bite to start my morning...Kashi blueberry waffles!! i have 1 (1 point) when i get up, just to jump start that metabolism. then i eat a snack after i've been up a few hours and actually have an appetite. they are yummy and easy...just an idea!!:teeth:

Melc, hope the little one is well soon! thats no fun!

AEG...you keep up that exercise-it will keep you heart healthy!! and thats very important..i told you: you are gaining MUSCLE!!!!

Have a Great week!:sunny:

i didn't make it to chat either, should this be the nonchatter committment thread for the week? he he he

anyhow -- this is more like week three on my snack-control week and I will admit that i'm feeling a bit more in control here. i find myself stopping and thinking it through more as a reflex, which is a good thing. today i didn't snack at all b/c I had a big lunch, but I had a yummy kashi Golean bar for 2 pts as I started to make dinner (late snack maybe?) to get me through

my committment for this week is to keep in control of my afternoon snacks - no more than 4 pts between lunch and dinner -- and to start working to nothing after 7 p.m.

I will keep up with my exercising this week as well, that's a given!

PD to all for a great week!

oh yea - i will also commit to stay in points this weekend!!

Hey guys,
Another 5am day (I never thought I could get into getting up) and I did Maximum Cardio Burn plus abs. I really felt the ab work today! I got 4 cups of water in before work, so I better get busy on the next 4. Not doing well on the veggies- AT ALL!

Molli- What Kashi Bars are you eating for 2 points?? My Kashi Go Lean bars are 5 points??? Maybe you are counting the fiber as more than 4? I count mine up to 5grams, but I still get 5 points and 2.5 for a half bar. I saw you post that last week too, and I thought maybe there was a new one, but I haven't seen anything new?

We definately missed you at Chat! Glad you are feeling in control of your snacking. I know that as time goes on, I feel more in control of mine too.

Evansmom- Great job on committing to a relay! Those blueberry waffles sound good. I will try to find some!

Bev- For fiber they have a 4 gram cap. So if something is 10 grams of fiber, you still count it as 4. I count mine as 5 because my WW program goes up to 5. I think this change was when it went from WW's 123 Sucess to WW's Winning Points program. They kept it the same when they went to Flex Points. If you are loosing with no cap, then I wouldn't change it.

Kim- We did miss you at chat, but we understand!

Everyone have a great day, and we rock!

melanie -- well, Mom figured out the pts, go figure! It was the key lime bar, but I think it's 3 pts using the correct fiber count. She has all this, mom? Wasn't there a carmel craze for 2 pts? I haven't bought any yet, she brought me some this weekend. But I plan to get some tomorrow

anyhow -- made it through today too :) I'm going to the Y for a pilates class so I held myself off until 5 pm. and had 3 pts of yogurt/fruit/GoLean crunch on top. i'll have a light dinner after class

PD for a great day tomorrow::yes:: :wave2:

melanie -- well, Mom figured out the pts, go figure!

okay, okay, okay so I am mathematically challenged, but I just punch numbers in the palm and get the answer. Mel - the new key lime bar (looks like rice krispy, white choc coating one side - not the cookie one) is 3 pts with the fiber cap (counted it at 2 before I knew the rule) and yes, I found one this past weekend at Walmart that is Carmel karma (fake carmel corn, choc coating one side) only 2 pts with the fiber cap - so what a treat!

Anniet had a testimony to the lime bar today and she gave it a very good review, too :teeth:

The oatmeal cookie one is 5 pts - I have been cutting those into 5 pieces and have 1 or 2 pieces at a time and that works for me (usually need 2) especially with a hot drink will curb my craving/hunger.

so, moving on ...... I have to report that I did not exercise today - yep I just could not get the "old" bod moving! I am not dwelling on the fact that I have now "officially" blown one section of my contract --- I am just telling everyone out loud so that I can move on. I know that by having the contract I have exercised more than I would have otherwise - so tomorrow is another day and I am off to bed to get a good night's rest and up and at em early tomorrow to get an hours worth in before work.

well, i had my weekly WI today...i'm actually pretty happy. i have no gain or loss since last week, but i was expecting a bit of a gain cause i'm closing in on my TOM, so maintaining is a pleasant suprise for me.
i've gotten 2 workouts in so far this week, planning on running tonight, BUT i may be making another trip to the DR cause i have some bug again. he may say lay off the exercise. I can't wait till the weathers warm for good and i don't get anymore of these high school kid germs!!! does it ever end?????

on a fun note...my DS (8 months) took his first crawling steps last night. he didn't get too far before collapsing on his belly...but he definitely was crawling!!!!:Pinkbounc before we knowit, he'll be all over the place!

have a great OP thursday everyone!!!:sunny:

oh Evan's crawling!!! wait ---- his favorite big cousin Molli is coming!!!! (well soon I hope!) tell him no more changes until I can see him ;)

Mom -- you keep your good attitude about yesterday, oh wait, what happened yesterday? because we've moved on!

I did go to the pilates class at the Y last night, we really worked our abs, but i'll admit I can do more in the same time span at home with my dvd. she spent too much time talking and trying to explain things

nik - stay healthy! i'm so proud of you for all you have accomplished this winter! woo hoo!!! i know you are looking good - vavavooom!!!!!

well off to get DD up and ready for school - she was home yesterday with the flu!

Good Thursday Morning WISHers!:sunny: I can't believe I forgot to post here yesterday...

Hi Bev! Don't you worry about not getting your exercise in for one day! Maybe it's just your body telling you that you need to rest--and you've certainly been working hard enough that you deserve an added day off! The last thing you want is to get burned out on exercising--then you won't want to do it at all. In my mind there's nothing better than taking a day off and eating some M & M's!:hyper: You have committed yourself to working out and eating well and I know you'll be right back on track! And now since posting those gorgeous pics of you and ohMom, you'll be doing so many photo shoots that you won't even have the time to pop those M & M's! I see you on the cover of Maxim...WOO HOO! You're loooooking goooood...!

Hi evansmom! You're little one is crawling--such exciting news! It's such fun when they do new things, isn't it?! And yes, just wait until he starts going mobile and gets into everything--you won't need an additional exercise program! Congrats to your baby--another milestone! I'm glad you're happy with your maintaining and exercise. I know my TOM adds on 2-3 lbs. so you're doing a great job holding steady! I'm sorry you're not feeling well--I am looking forward to the end of cold and flu season, too. Take good care of yourself and do rest (is that possible with an 8 month old?!) if you need to!

Hi Melanie! First off, how is your little boy? Was it just a tummy bug? I do hope he's feeling better! Another early morning for you--that's great! You must be Wonder Woman in disguise with all that you do in a day--AWESOME JOB!

OhMom! Boy, everytime I think of you and your mom, I keep singing the lyrics from "Covergirl":
"...You gotta work it
Covergirl!
Work it, girl
Do a swirl!
Do your thing
On the runway..." Oh, RuPaul would be so proud! :bitelip:
Keep up your TERRIFIC WORK!

I'm getting late start today. One of my dogs threw up on the bed, so I had some unexpected cleaning and laundry to do this morning. I'm changing my username! Things are under control now, and I'm off to do Maximum Cardio Burn + Abs.

Have a great day WISHers, and KEEP ON JAMMIN' KIDS!

I am sorry that I haven't been around this week and I haven't stayed within my committments. We are leaving for WDW early Sunday morning (driving), I had load of work to do to get caught up before I left, my Mom had an out-patient procedure done yesterday and I'm still not packed. Can you hear the panic in my voice?

I am so proud of all of you for sticking around and posting here. You are all doing great and yes we all have our slip-ups, but the important part is not letting those last long and then getting back on plan. I know that I feel so much better when I'm exercising and eating right.

Keep up the great work everyone and I won't be in chat Monday night, I don't know where we will be in the "World" at that time, but I'll be thinking of you. I'll start the new thread on Tuesday.

Have a great day everyone!:sunny:

oh Tammy --- now you are my friend so i'm trying real hard to sympathize with you ;) you leaving for the World on sunday though and I want to squeeze in your trunk!!! we all get overwhelmed at times, you will do plenty of walking next week!

luvdoggies -- i have an incredibly spoiled canine at my house and I know you still luv your doggies but yuck! i just want to tell you i have some sore quads and gluts from the FIRM workout! whewie!

ok -- yesterday I'm not totally sure about my snacking pts -- i had some sour gummies:crazy: it was one of those days. I did fine on everything else, then after dinner a box of cookies called to me, but they were reduced fat! anyhow -- i dipped into the flex pts, which I didn't want to do this week but I'm learning I need to every couple days to keep my sanity!

today i'm taking my sore quads and gluts on a long walk with my neighbor, "rainchecked" from monday, unless it starts raining again!

Morning Committers!

Oh, Tammy! Life is very hectic for you now--planning, packing and preparing for a trip can be overwhelming! You're going to do just great even though you're on vacation--you have so much motivation and determination, that we know you won't stray too far! ;) And even if you do, you'll be back on track in no time flat! Have a WONDERFUL time at WDW!

OhMom! Mmmmmm...gummi bears. I'd think I'd eat them even if I didn't like the taste of them--they're just so gosh darn cute! And the name--"gummi bears"--how can you resist popping something in your mouth that just sounds so adorable?! You dip into those flex points if you need to, girl! I stole a big bite from dh's Reece's Peanut Butter Cup the other day (he was annoyed:mad: )--but sometimes you just have to feed the beast! Have a nice walk with your neighbor--sore glutes and all (oh, I hear you on that one:headache: )!

I did Cardio Sculpt this morning and then had a Kashi blueberry waffle that evansmom had suggested I try. Ohhhh...YUMMY! It tasted really good and satisfied the sweets craving I was having. THANK YOU EVANSMOM!:hyper: I'll continue with my exercise 6x/week, eating well and not eating after 7pm. Things are going great!

Have a great Friday WISHers!:sunny:

Oh yeah - a computer in the lunchroom - love it - then I get to eat and "talk" at the same time ;)

Did my 4 mi WATP this AM - a few crunches and waist trimmers- good to go for the hour exercise also completed my walking up the steps for the week (today finally counted them 150 to the 8th floor)

Glad to report that the candy dish in the lobby is empty but even happier to report I only raided it just that one day! Today I am smiling cuz someone said it looks like I lost some more weight - woohooo that will keep me eating the healthy stuff today - okay am having dinner at an Italian place - not the best choice but we're using our Entertainment book and then off to see the Mercyme/Amy Grant concert.

Hoping for a Sat walk of at least 6 miles - haircut in the morning so just depends on what time I get up and moving - and maybe on just how much dinner I have tonight too :p

Tammy- hope mom is doing okay - give her a hug if you see her again before you leave :-) Take care and don't forget those walking shoes -you'll get plenty of exercise and right back on track when you get home!

I am going to have to check out those Kashi waffles - 1 pt and Nikki knew about the "fiber cap" even - mmmm - moms really are the last to know I guess ;)

Lmd - have you tried the white choc/ reese pnbutter cup? I think it just might be on my Easter candy shopping list this year?

I just wanted to stop by quickly to cheer everyone on for a great weekend. I'm in panic mode of getting everything done. Keep up the great work everyone! I'll have my computer and will be surfing the DIS while at WDW when we are relaxing in the room. Now the problem might be DH wanting to be on there too. We might have to set timers so that we can share. I've gotten too use to having two computers::yes:: .

I'll be checking in on you all once we get settled in tomorrow or Monday!

Hey WISHers!

Hi Bev! It's sounds like your doing GREAT with all your exercise and healthy eating committments! Isn't it an awesome confidence booster when someone notices all your hard work and tells you how good you look?!:hyper: I hope you enjoyed your Italian dinner (yum!) and concert! Dh tried the white choc. pbc's and said they were great! Hmmm...I'll have to give them a whirl (yeah, like someone will have to twist my arm to get me to do that)! Bev, you continue to motivate me with how determined and positive you are--what a fantastic job you're doing! You have a great weekend!

Oh evansmom! A sinus infection! They can make you feel so yucky. I hope the antibiotics are kicking in and that you'll be feeling better. Rest if you need to! Guess what? Another Kashi waffle for breakfast this morning--they are deeeeelicious! Your butt sounds like mine (did I actually just write that?). I have no curves back there at all--flat as a board. J.Lo I am not. Have a terrific weekend and get better soon!

Hi Tammy! All that hard work that you're doing preparing for your trip will be so worth it once you get there--you're going to have a blast! If you're family is anything like mine, everyone looks to Mom to get everything done! I'm sending some PD your way for a safe and wonderful trip!:wizard: Have a GREAT TIME!

I did Total Sculpt + Abs this morning and had a yummy Evansmom Waffle:D for breakfast. I'll continue to exercise 6x/week and eat nutritiously.

Have a great weekend WISHers! WE RULE!:cool1:

i want an evansmom waffle too:hyper: i'm going to have to get some of those. I just bought GoLean Krunch and I like it -- 3 pts per cup i usually have 2/3 cup for 2 pts though. or 1 cup berries/.5 cup Light and Fit vanilla yogurt/.3 cup GoLean Krunch for a yummy 3 pt breakfast. oh wait, nobody asked -- anyhow I'm going to have to get those evansmom waffles :)

WhChRPB -- oooohhh!!! yum! those are awesome! my oldest DD bought me a pack for valentine's day b/c she remembered i LOVE white choc!

nikki: I get workout DVDs from the library alot. I got the FIRM cardio sculpt that I keep reading about it was what made me sore. and wah! you flat-butted girls! no sympathy from my bubble butt  you can add AEG to the list of flat butt girls too!

another great toning DVD I have is Kathy Smith Lift Weights to Lose Weight 2 -- oh my gosh i'm going to be sore again tomorrow i know it. i'm working my glutes and quads to try to widdle them down though. that's where my jeans are tight in the hips

tammy -- PD for a super vacation. i keep telling you that b/c i'm :bounce: with envy :teeth:

ok, yesterday I ate kinda in a funk. I skimped out on breakfast and lunch -- i mean I ate just low pts -- b/c I knew i would be stopping at Graeter's ice cream. Oh yum! It's a ohio based ice cream store that makes the creamiest most yummiest ice cream. anyhow -- since I gave up choc. for lent I was a bit limited, but I had one scoop of coffee ice cream. then I meant to not really eat dinner and I ended up eating a soft pretzel with Robert Rotschild raspberry honey mustard and some starburst jellybeans and a rummy coke! oops! i'm sure I went over pts for the day.

ok back on track today. just had a huge chicken taco salad out for lunch today, so nothing until dinner for me! :earseek:

i'm rambling, sorry -- have a great weekend ladies!
