WISH Buddy Exchange Sent/Received

I mailed my package to my WISH buddy this morning. Wanted to get it in the mail before we leave for Disney in the morning. It doesn't have very far to go Hope my WISH buddy likes what I picked!

You beat me to it!! After getting my package all together today I realized there was one more thing I wanted to put in there and since I work tomorrow I won't have a chance to get it until Wednesday, so hopefully Thursday my package will be headed on its journey! Have a great trip to WDW!!!

Posted mine out this morning too and I am sooooo annoyed as I had to fill out the customs label with all the contents - whatever happened to surprises!!!!

Almost done with my package - should be done this weekend and in the mail on MOnday.

Just a note of advice if you run into this problem again. If you use the large white forms that go into the plastic package on the box you can tell the clerk that it is a gift and they will fold it in half before they put it in the plastic so the recipient doesn't see what you sent. I run into this problem all the time because ALL packages that I send require a customs form.

I finally finished my package today, but didn't have time before I left work to address it, so mine will be heading out on Tuesday. (Post office is closed here on Saturday and Monday is an Italian holiday).

I'm at work but my son (at home) says my WISH package is there already!! Now, do I get to open it right away or am I supposed to wait until Christmas?????

I haven't even SENT mine out yet - have most of the contents but need one or two more things to round it out. It should be in the mail early next week.

Mine went out this morning. I would have loved to have a few more days to go shopping to find a few more cool things, but I had to get it in the mail by a specific date, and since it is supposed to snow again tomorrow I went ahead and sent it out.

What a fun treat, Doreen!! I understand that you don't want to share who your buddy is, but do you mind sharing some of the fun items you received? It's like getting to share in everyone's WISH exchange!

Due to popular demand, here's what my WISH buddy sent me. This person used what I wrote in the "getting to know you" thread.

1. A cute little stuffed reindeer to brighten up my cubicle at work.
2. A Mickey snowman antenna topper - now sitting atop my van's antenna.
3. A small Yankee jar candle - vanilla cookie scent.
4. Dana Carpender's 500 Low Carb Recipes cookbook.
5. A beautiful card with a lovely message inside, including best WISHes for a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year.

I sent this person a PM with a more personalized Thank You, so I won't do that here, but it was such fun to get the box and open it and think of my far away WISH buddy. I'm sending this person many thanks and many good WISHes also!!

My package is going out either today or tomorrow. I didn't have time to mail it myself ... I was too busy with all the last minute details of packing for my trip I've left the package with my mom along with a couple of others so it should be on its way really soon I hope its something my WISH buddy will like!

My package went in the mail this morning! Postman said it should arrive in 2-3 days so my buddy should receive it this week! I loved being a part of this and hope that my buddy likes what they received.

My package is officially in the mail....however, I had doubts it ever would make it. I brought my package to the post office and since it wasn't a US address, they had no idea where it was or how to send it....but after they made a few phone calls it got all straightened out...thankfully. Not sure how long the mail takes from Italy to other countries, hopefully my package will arrive in a timely manner.

I was going to mail my package out today but I forgot to bring home the box and bubble wrap from work last night and today at work there weren't any boxes left that were the right size. It now looks like I won't be getting it out until Sat. I'm sorry to keep my buddy waiting but it won't be much longer, I promise.

I received my package, THANK YOU THANK YOU! Let me try to remember what was in it, I am at work right now... I got some scrapbooking things, Mickey antenna topper (yahhh), notepad... oh I am drawing a blank. But you get the idea...

As for my scatter brainedness... I have had a terrible week. My 7 month old baby came down with chicken pox, so I have been very sleepless this last week.

I have my package, but didn't get it sent yet. I plan to before the end of this week!!!!

This has been great fun!
