I lost 2 pounds this week! I can't believe it! For me that is a great loss, I am normally happy if I can get one pound in a week!!! Looking back as to when I was able to lose weight with good success, I have come to the conclusion that my metabolism needs the kick of continuos exercise - and especially cardio like running and walking. I am so happy as the number on the scale is getting me to a 25.8 BMI - so less than one BMI number and I am no longer overweight!
The lesson learned is: never give up! I was being so frustrated with not seeing the results that I thought I should have over the last two weeks and then this week I was seeing a result that was even better than expected! Now I just need to not be disappointed if I am not able to replicate it again next week - but I will certainly try to do just that!!
Lisa, I admire you for running in the cold in the morning! I wanted to go for a run today, but it was pouring down with rain and then I was seeing a friend in the afternoon - but I did walk to her house and back which comes out as a total of 6k, so some exercise at least.
Soon the schedule will open up.
I had to bring chocolate (Dove dark) to a couple teachers because I messed up... in reality my office manager didn't give me proper instructions, but I just blamed it on being new. They bought it!
I am learning tons so that's good!
That BMI number will be yours soon!
I'm not a fan of running in the rain either.

She had a great time; her official 10th birthday (!) is this Wednesday.
