Are there any neat things worth mentioning while on this trip? We'll be pretty focused on getting down there but on our way back, we'll be taking our time and I wouldn't mind stopping off to see some sites if possible :)

We stopped once at Mammoth Cave in Cave city, Kentucky...Kids enjoyed the tours. You can book the tours before you go on the National Parks website.:thumbsup2

We like to stop at Lookout Mt. GA and check out the view of Chattanooga, TN from the park at the top. We also have made it a tradition to stop in Perry, GA at Lane Packing, a peach and pecan grower. It is just a few miles off Hwy 75 and you can buy fresh peaches and pecans. They have a little restaurant/bakery with some homestyle cooking and awesome peach pie and homemade peach ice cream.

In Athens, Tennessee off exit 52 on I-75 is Mayfiled Dairy which gives free tours of how their Ice Cream gets made. Plus they have a wonderfull gift shop and you can also purchase Ice Cream or Milkshakes.

There is a Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY, right off of I-65. You can also take tours of the actual Chevy Corvette plant right near there as well, also right off the freeway.

If timing is not right and hit Atlanta traffic at wrong time, you can stop at the Coca Cola factory.
