Wireless routers and ipads

Although we've used a router successfully at WDW many many times in the past, in Jan. we were unable to use it. My dh is in tech and he is wondering if things are being put into place to curtail the use of the routers (if it's left open as a hot spot then Disney is out the internet connection fees). Just our experience and interested to see if anyone else has had trouble recently.

Disney isn't really out much of anything. Because they don't have wireless, each room only has one wired connection. Having a router doesn't cost Disney anything when only one person can be on anyway.

I guess the exception is DVC rooms where a 2BR has 2 connections, one in the studio and one in the 1BR. But, I'd guess 90% of those guests are on points and get it free anyway.

Agreed, in the villas, no lost revenue. Just sayin' that we had a problem using the network with wireless router a week ago and wondered if it had to do with changes made to the system in general.

did anyone else have a problem...we will be goibg to a 2 BR at BLt and wanted to use a wireless router for 3 laptops..just waondering if we should anticipate a problem.
