I know it is only July and it feels like 105 degrees here in Michigan but I need some Winter driving advise, especially from those who know the Southern states well. We're planning a WDW trip from Thurs. 11/30 (after 4p)-12/11 and are planning to drive from Michigan. Are we leaving enough time for snow and ice if we plan on arriving on Sat. 12/2 in the early afternoon sometime so that we will have time to do some shopping at DTD? It's about a 22 hour drive. I have no idea what the Winter weather is like outside of Michigan and don't want to have an unpleasant surprise that will set us back a day or so.

At the first of December, it would be extremely rare to have winter weather problems South of TN or NC. Unless you are driving some mountainous route, the odds are greatly against you seeing any winter weather from that point Southward.
