Winter time water park

I always thought they alternated which water park was open during the winter months, but I'm 99.9% we went to Blizzard Beach last February and it looks like it's Blizzard Beach again this winter. Could that be accurate?

They close both every winter, just not at the same time.

No, each park is usually closed 2-2.5 months each winter (not at the same time). TL is scheduled for refurb 1/6-3/16/2019.

They each close for about 2 months. TL is closed and won't open until mid March.

DH and I were discussing this the other day. I was under the assumption that they would alternate which water park they refurbed first. Meaning BB in December and then TL once it was done and then next year do TL first, and BB second. That way people who vacationed the same time each year could do each of the water parks, but apparently that is not always the case. I agree though, its a bummer that they don't!

they probably do not have enough people going to make it worth it to keep both open!
