Winter Summerland Golf when Blizzard Beach closed?

If we have time, I'd like to try one of the mini golf courses next Tuesday (1/6). The Winter Summerland theme looks more interesting to me, but I'm not sure how to get there! Blizzard Beach will be closed, so is a taxi our only option? We are staying at POP, anyone know how much the taxi cost would be?

Also, if we decide on Fantasia instead, do any buses from parks go directly to the Swan/Dolphin, or would we need to grab a Boardwalk bus and walk over?

Yes, a taxi will be your best option. Not sure of the cost. You can get a bus from any park to Swan/Dolphin & walk over. S/D shares bus service with Boardwalk.

There is conflicting information as to whether W-S will be open. An internal communication source (CenterStage) says it will be going down for refurbishment together with BB on 1/4, while other internal sources show it as open. If you are interested, I would suggest asking the resort concierge desk to call them directly to confirm whether they are open.

If W-S is open while BB is closed, there should be buses running from Epcot stopping at Coronado Springs and then continuing to BB. You can take a bus from Pop to Epcot, and transfer there to the CS/BB bus. Be sure to tell the driver that you are going to BB to play at W-S.

There are buses to Swan from all WDW theme parks.

Fantasia Gardens is only a couple of miles from Pop. A taxi should be under $10. BB is a bit farther; it might be around $15-$20 by cab.

Some places on "The Hub", the internal WDW web site, are still showing W-S as open, so beware of incorrect information from concierges or phone centers.
