Hi,
Fin will ask you to trade. You choose 1 of the pins she is wearing and tell her which one. You put up a pin to trade to her-must be a 500 credit buy able pin, host pin or quest pin. You both accept and your done and leave. Not much talking in trade as she is in rush to keep line moving.

when fin opens trade window, put up which pin you want to trade and request which pin you want that she has displayed. To save time and get in as many ppl and they can, extra chat is not encouraged. but manners are! lol. Try to decide which pin you want before you get to Host. You can chose from the pins she is wearing.

Personally, I'd go with Surfboard. All the rest were either Weekend Pins or easily obtainable Host Pins.

atleast i dont hink you can trade her game pins, Everest pin from expidition everest, nemo pin, buzz cup pin. those are what i was thiking. Not sure where the Mickey special pins was form that was before my time lol

I think Mickey special pin is off the Q, She did indicate she would accept the nemo pin. Not sure on Buzz, I would give that a maybe since I don't think you can get it anymore, pretty sure no on everest or any currently buyable or NPC. I think if it is no longer available it is exceptable including quest pins, formerly buyable, and host pins and sword in stone pins are acceptable as well. (the prize pins not swords)

Hmmm... being the self-proclaimed Lord of the Pin Trading Weekend Spectacular, I do have problems with folks saying that there are only certain pins they accept.

In the past, I have been able to trade ANY pin I can buy. Usually I pick a signature pin and load up on it (like the Disney's California Adventure pin which sells for 50 credits in the Emporium) for events such as these.

Now, with my schedule and no Pin Trading Weekend in the recent past, I haven't pin traded in a while, so my information may be a bit out of date. But I DO remember talk about Hosts only accepting 500 credit pins last August/September, but I was still able to trade a 50 credit pin.

It's not like the Host is going to boot you if you aren't willing to trade a 500 credit pin-- if you're feeling gutsy, give the 50 credit pins a shot.

I have yet to ever make it into a host trade room...and tonight was no exception, I got called into work. Bummer, I need the churro, surf board, and Mickey bar pins...I don't have those at all. I know churro & surfboard is more desirable as far as trades, but I would have been thrilled with a Mickey bar pin!! I couldn't believe I missed that one last year! Here's hoping for success at the next trade!!!!

You were lucky, It really is their call and with the lines they probably did not want to hold it up. Perhaps they like you I have heard of a refusal to trade for a buyable pin in the past. The idea is it should be a fair traid as any trade should be.
