We are going for 3 nights so the current UK offer of 2 nights free (when buying 4 nights) isn't that great for us - it's OK, but I prefer to wait and see what else crops up.
Yes, the offers are likely to be different - they almost always are.
Not sure if you pay in euros actually? You would if you paid online (in full, yes). If you called up the booking line and asked for that country's specific offer (you can do this and they have to oblige) then they may convert it into £ (or your currency) for you so you are charged in £. I've never done this but I think tennisfan has recently.
I recently spoke to a French CM and she told me that they search automatically for the best rate for you if you call them. I've never been told that before but it's obvious they should do that. I think on the UK booking line (depending on the CM), they tend to just give you the current UK offer/price which isn't always the best....
I much prefer booking via the French line now but sometimes they won't entertain your call, hear you are English and then transfer you to the UK booking line (which tends to be US CMs who imo (and experience) are not as nice/don't tend to go the extra mile to get you a good deal!). I think if you do manage to book on the French line then any changes/amends, they will deal with it as it is their booking originally. Hope that makes sense!
