Was that mentioned in the Netflix documentary? I haven't watched it but I've seen comments mentioning scandal/controversies talked about on the documentary...or at least I think they were saying it was talked about on it.

I live in "curling country" ,lol, and that age is Not old for curling. All ages play the game here and it's a big deal. There are elderly down to young children who play. So, in this one sport, age is not a factor regarding who can play.

I live in "curling country" ,lol, and that age is Not old for curling. All ages play the game here and it's a big deal. There are elderly down to young children who play. So, in this one sport, age is not a factor regarding who can play.

Not old for curling but it is old for elite curlers. The average age for male curlers on the World Curling Tour is 31 to 35.

Yeah, I'm close to tears, and so was Scotty Hamilton during his interview.

Kazakhstan was amazing, other than his music. He wanted to use the music of a fellow country man, but I miss the days when they didn't allow lyrics.

The last 3...although he was the worst by far. It reminded me of Nathan Chen's 1st short program at the Olympics.

He was shocked and devastated of course, but handled it so well and he immediately congratulated and was so gracious to the winner from Kazakhstan. That was nice to see.

And all week, all the media, including Scott, have been saying he was unbeatable, etc etc. That is a lot to put on someone.

I normally try to avoid spoilers. I just started the Part 1 on replay but I'm glad for once to see the spoilers. I will still continue watching but will skip over his performance only because it is legit hard to watch something that ends that way. I enjoy watching all the skaters so I don't want to just not watch it.

He did for every performance before this one - I mean, since the last Olympics, he's won every Worlds by margins unheard of...and every Grand Prix final...and every US nationals...and hadn't lose since 2023 to anyone...
