Winter Dec 25 - Jan 26 Direct Incentives

So CCV is still $229 a point on a 150 contract.

Resale at $125+ is still looking a lot more much more attractive to me.

Probably should have pulled the tigger last year when they dipped a bit.

Story of my life. A day late and a dollar short

An incentive on a resort always seems to lead to a period of ROFR to backfill what was sold….

That’s a good point. For some reason, I was thinking the recent AKV ROFRs were more because there was likely to be another AKV sale in the next year, but makes more sense that it would be to backfill what they sold in the end of summer sale they had.

I wouldn’t call renters “suckers”. There are strong benefits of being a renter.
Oh for sure! For instance my wife still loves me for not locking her into a 50 year contract at Disney 😂.

On the other hand, we've gone to Disney every year since 2022 (and sporadic trips before then) and stayed deluxe renting points definitely feeling more of a sucker doing the back math 😂

I'm also running the numbers with the CCV incentives and washing resale with direct. Is that $209/pt discounted rate math calculating in Magical Beginnings?

Is DVD offering Magical Beginnings on 150+ pt contracts for their non-active resorts like CCV in this case? I thought there was something familiar with that in recent years and only being for the non-sold out resorts.
