I saw an infomercial for this the other day and it looks great...of course, everything on infomercials looks good!

Anyway, does anyone out there have these tapes and do you like them? I'm especially interested in the total body in 20 minutes one...I don't have the time or discipline to spend hours working out. I just want to look like I do! It's hard enough for me to get my butt on the treadmill a few times a week.

Thanks in advance.

I have Pilates for Dummies DVD, which is basically the same exercises as Winsor. I love doing it, you can really feel your abs working! I alternate this video with cardio exercise tapes.

Is it hard to learn the exercises? I mean, is it hard to get the positioning right? Is it something that you see a difference with?

I must say that I love the Winsor Pilates. I find it easy to put in the 20 minutes doing that dvd. I like these as there is a visual of different levels of ability so if you cannot do it at first, you can see how it is done at a lower level. As you improve you can climb up and do them at full level and still benefit. This system has certainly worked for me. I have definitely become core stronger.

Good luck in your quest.

pilates for dummies is definitely hard to do all the exercises the first time. she explains each move very well, but you have to work up to doing all the reps.

I have Winsor Pilates and can definitely say it works when you do it. :p I love the way I feel when I'm finished too, since it incorporates the muscle-strengthening work with stretching. This is the one workout I can do in the evening right before bed and still get to sleep - I find it relaxing even while I'm working hard.

I really wanna try it too. I think I'll look at my local library and see if I can reserve a copy to try it out. But I've been wondering if some of the other pilates tapes are good. I'll look for the Pilates for Dummies too. :)

I figured I'm waiting until I am consistantly keeping up with my WATP and Tae Bo DVDs. DH would kill me if I spent more money and didn't use it. :guilty:

Has anyone seen the books. Would the books be a good way to learn the moves?? I know I looked into the dvd before at the library but whenever I'd check it was out. I could reserve it but I wonder about the books.

I have both Pilates For Dummies and Windsor Pilates. I prefer the Windsor ones because the Dummies DVD takes too long between the movements.
