Winnie the Pooh?

I read that Winnie the pooh ride, and poohs corner is closed for refurbishment. Will there be anywhere else to meet these characters during the refurb? Pooh characters are the highlight of my daughters trips. Will the store still be open?

All of critter country is closed until May I believe. I haven't seen Pooh anywhere - the only place might be at the Minnie & Friends breakfast at the Plaza Inn.

Tigger Tails are being sold at the Candy Palace on Main St. Disney said that there is no alternate meet during the closure, but as pp said, those character are sometimes in the mix at Plaza Inn breakfast.

I'm pretty sure that most of the merchandise that was found in Pooh Corner can also be found in the Emporium or at World of Disney.

Meeting Pooh and Tigger was awesome and I am sad I won't get to see them this time around. I'm sure there will be another trip in my future though!

Someone I follow on Instagram had a picture with Winnie the Pooh this past week. He was located near ToT at California Adventure. So maybe ask a CM when you arrive. (I wish we had!)

Every time I have had a character meal at the Plaza Inn Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore have been there

Nothing - or very minor touch ups, if anything. Since they are refurbishing main draw, Splash, I'm sure Disney figures it is just more cost effective to close the entire land rather than keep the other things open.

Thank you and that makes sense to do 2 in 1. I was hoping maybe they'd change it to where Piglet says Happy Winds-Day to Pooh the way I have heard he does at MK. AT DL I am almost positive at the very beginning of the ride Gopher says it to Pooh. Of course, a little longer addition would be welcome, too, such a cute ride.

I don't know when you are planning to go, but I read on Micechat.com that Critter Country reopens on April 3.

Now that I've seen the new Alice I hope they'll do something with the tumbling, sleeping Pooh that leads into the huffalumps and woozles room. But I'm not holding my breath that they're improving that scene right now.

We saw pooh at the plaza character breakfast. My 17 year daughter cried cause she loves pooh so much. Lol
